Three Texas Democrats who fled the Lone Star state in a private jet in order to block election integrity bills have now tested positive for COVID- 19.
The news was confirmed by the Texas House Democratic Caucus leadership on Saturday - five days after the left-wing lawmakers packed onto the private aircraft without face masks as they snapped selfies intended to taunt their political rivals.
Since that time, the Texas Democrats have been staying at a plush hotel in Washington, DC and have been out and about in the community. The group even met with Vice President Kamala Harris during a closed-door meeting near the Capitol on Tuesday.
Many of the Democrats have publicly professed the importance of masking up, but it seems they are privately not so keen on using the use of face coverings. The Austin American Statesman claims that the group has only used masks 'sparingly' 'as they held meetings around the city' this week.
Officials have not released the names of the three Democrats who have contracted the coronavirus. They have now been forced to self-isolate for at least 10 days.
The outbreak was discovered on Friday, when one of the lawmakers tested positive for COVID after taking a rapid test.
Others were subsequently tested on Saturday morning, with two more found to be positive. One of them is said to be experiencing 'mild' symptoms.
All three of the infected officials are fully vaccinated.

Oh, thanks for that info....the last headline I read said ‘vax’d’....so, I took it these Demoshevics had ALL done their deed for the greater good...and, got the shots.

Fully vaccinated according to whom? According to the Democrats diagnosed with positive COVID tests who say that they are fully vaccinated?
I'm old enough to remember when Kamala Harris said that she wouldn't want to take a Trump vaccine, and to remember Joe Biden wearing a mask after he claimed to be fully vaccinated. Maybe Democrats notice the mixed messaging from other Democrats?
And they also appear happy when doing something illegal.
The whole group should be quarantined.
