Opinion: The climate crisis can't be stopped, we must adapt
Deutsche Welle ^ | 07.16.2021 | David Ehl

The extent of destruction and death wrought by Germany's recent floods is slowly becoming apparent. Dozens of people have died, with many still reported missing. The disaster has devastated entire towns, washing away residential houses, cars and trees.

Natural disasters are nothing new. They occurred long before the advent of the industrial age, when humans began burning fossil fuels on a large scale.

Over time, however, atmospheric CO2 concentrations have doubled, raising Earth's temperature by 1 degree Celsius (1.8° Fahrenheit). A greater frequency and intensity of natural disasters has been the consequence.

As vast swaths of western Germany are dealing with one of the worst floods in years, parts of North America are grappling with scorching hot temperatures that have left scores dead and sparked forest fires that have proven very difficult to contain. The Northern Hemisphere, in short, is facing a climate crisis. […]

Germany's Federal Statistical Office recorded an 11% increase in deaths during a weeklong heat wave this summer. It is almost unimaginable what would happen if temperatures were to rise to 46, 47 or even 49 degrees Celsius (120 degrees Fahrenheit), as they have done this summer in the Canadian town of Lytton. Lytton, incidentally, lies near 50 degrees north latitude, just like the German towns of Boppard and Coburg, in central Germany.

This means we should be taking safety precautions. Reconfiguring our cities could help, for instance by ensuring air can properly circulate in urban conglomerations. Preserving or cultivating green spaces can help lower temperatures. Concrete structures and asphalt surfaces, after all, lock in the heat. …

The same people who discuss the feasibility of establishing a colony on the moon or Mars can’t conceive of how we could possibly to adapt to climate changes here on earth.

One way to adapt is not to live in a flood plain, or at or below sea level. Bodies of water are probably going to flood at some point, and the drainage or runoff system in the area may or may not be able to handle it. The streets in parts of my city routinely become ankle-deep or more with rainwater because the storm runoff system is poorly maintained (clogged) or inadequate. Sometimes the fire department has to send trucks out to the highway and most traveled streets to pump out the standing water.

The return of the 3600 year cyclical event.

What we just have seen in Europe was one of these strange and more frequent weather related incidents which usher in the progression of he 3600 year cyclical event. So far it appeared as if the western part of the world had been spared from these destructive events, as these events have been far more common and frequent in the southern hemisphere as well as Asia and the Far east. But it looks like that Mother Nature is trying to spread misery equally.

These natural and what appear to be cyclical events are accompanied by an increase in earth quakes and volcanic eruptions. Very similar in nature what took place approximately 3600 years ago in ancient Egypt and gave the Pharaoh at he time an Excedrin headache, eventually leading up to the Biblical Exodus. By releasing the Jews from bondage the Pharaoh was hoping that this would put an end to some of the disasters which took place at the time.

Little did he know that these were natural events and disasters on a world wide scale as when we research ancient Chinese documents we find hat they were plagued by disasters very similar in nature as what was taking place in Egypt at the time. In other words these destructive events were world wide very similar in nature to what we are seeing right now. Since we are just entering this destructive cycle, you can anticipate more of the same. Unfortunately nature has a mind of its own, in other words we cannot predict when, where and what will be affected next. Most people don’t pay any attention to these events, until they hit home and so far we have been very lucky. But I have a feeling sooner or later our luck may run out.

An interesting article which appeared not too long ago and caught my attention was an advisory bulletin put out by Lloyds of London advising their members to be prepared and anticipate much higher losses within the next eighty to a hundred years due to more frequent earthquakes, volcanic eruptions as well as adverse and damaging weather patterns which have been taking place on a worldwide scale. With one of these crazy weather events creating havoc and misery in parts of Germany as well as Belgium within the last few days. And about a month ago or so a tornado laying down a destructive path in Czechoslovakia, a place were most people never even heard of a tornado.

For anyone interested enough and would like to find out more about his destructive cycle and what mankind is in for, you may want to visit and check out the following.

Needless to say, these events are unrelated to anything humans have been doing, even as much as ignorant politicians want us to believe that humans can change or influence what is taking place. The best we can do is to prepare best possible for these events in case they hit home.

Volcanoes, Earthquakes And The 3,600 Year Comet Cycle
By: Pierre Lescaudron

Another author you may want to check out was Immanuel Velikovsky who wrote extensively about these cyclical events.

Either way - it’s just assertions. This is all “correlation equals causation”. Nope. The climate is always changing and their models do not back-cast well, so why should I believe forecasts?

There’s no evidence extreme weather events have doubled. They just state that it has and provide zero science behind the statement.

The Earth may just be continuing to warm as it has been since before the industrial revolution. Even if man is responsible they’re required to show science behind what it would be doing anyway (if we didn’t exist) and what we’ve contributed, assuming anything. What is the delta? Nobody can say.

This all stands, ultimately, against the last argument they can make, “but what if you’re wrong?”. That argument is declaring you don’t *really* know but do as we say anyway because they “might be right”. Sorry, cheap, abundant, and reliable energy brings nations our of poverty and all of their ‘solutions’ are fascistic policies. The onus is those making the claim to PROVE it. Just making wild claims without pointing to the science doesn’t cut it, it becomes just another liberal making non-scientific assertions.

All over something that is 0.04% of the atmosphere and necessary for all life.

You know, what the science types who believe in ”climate change” believe in?

And meanwhile nobody says a word about the by far strongest and most abundant greenhouse gas in the atmosphere - water vapor.

Humanity could work around “climate change” even if it were “real” without pillaging anyone’s freedom or standard of living. The earth’s crust has enough uranium to last a thousand generations if used in breeder reactors. Nuclear fission can replace coal and natural gas in power plants. “Greenhouse gases” from electric utilities would thus fall to zero. Atomic reactors can even yield hydrocarbon fuels from ocean water.

Nuclear energy can desalinate sea water for irrigation if the deserts do expand. Coastal communities at risk of flooding can be rebuilt as floating cities with today’s technology. This has already been seriously considered for New Orleans, which really is sinking. Cities can be built underground or under the ocean as well. Aluminum chaff, which reflects solar energy, can be launched into orbit and make the world cooler.

But none of that is even necessary. The elites themselves fail to take “climate change” seriously, so why should we? B. Hussein Obama and his “wife” recently bought a mansion just barely above sea level. The banksters, corporate raiders, cyber billionaires, movie stars, politicians, professional athletes, and singers who demand us mere commoners ride bicycles and eat soy still fly on private jets that burn more fuel in one flight than a working person does in a year!
