“There wasn’t a man I met with that didn’t try to sleep with me,” Old Hollywood icon Lainie Kazan tells Page Six.
Her strategy for defusing such situations? “Sometimes I tried to play dumb. [As if] I didn’t see it, I didn’t understand it. You know, it was playful. There was no way to be as direct as we are now.”
But Kazan points out that when she did end up in an “entanglement” with a suitor it was “not because the guy was saying, ‘You’re not getting the role otherwise.'”

When I think of old Hollywood icons I’d sleep with it sure as heck wouldn’t be her. And I’m a zoomer.... Old Hollywood icons toe are Barbara Eden, Racquel Welch and Maureen O’Hara. no other actress in modern time has the class of those beauties.
Well... how many tried to sleep with her?
My house is about 500 meters from the seafront, with multiple beaches separated by breakwaters. There is a stretch of beach where old women congregate to sunbathe topless. We call them the lonely ladies. I told my wife they lay there all day and dream of a time when men actually wanted to get a look at their breasts.
She worked in Hollywood and never met a gay man?
Color me skeptical.

I’m sure she did - doesn’t mean some women don’t think those men still want her.
The key word is sleep. She never met a man that didn’t want to fall asleep around her. She never had a man that didn’t sleep around on her.
Remember Barbara Eden on Andy Griffin, the manicure episode.... She was 19 or 20. Smoking!
Don’t forget Lauren Bacall.
She looks like a man made up to look like a woman.
I also looked at her 1970 photos. She sure has an inflated idea of herself. I know several hookers who look a lot better than she does and would rather pay them than spend even a moment between the sheets with Lainie Kazan.
An unverifiable claim along the lines of Wilt Chamberlain claiming to have slept with 10 or whatever thousand women.
Given the high number of gay men in Hollywood and movie biz at the time, I tend to agree.
Not sure what’s the bigger insult to truth. That Lainie Kazan is Old Hollywood or that every guy wants to sleep with her.
Didn't she play "Thelma Lou" (Barney's girlfriend)?
