I 100% agree with you that the zealots are unhinged. But I don't conflate that with the data, which is real. For the record, I also don't conflate warming with pollution. Especially when talking about CO2. CO2 is NOT a pollutant and I hate them talking about it like it is. I agree with maybe 10% of the Dims' push to lower pollution in certain circumstances (i.e. a particular factory). I don't agree with them pushing factories to purchase carbon credits from Al Gore or Tesla, all while claiming it keeps global warming from causing blizzards and such.

I mean, the data at best shows a 1 degree rise across a century or so. Is that warming? Yes. Will it warm enough to make the ancient city of Ephesus back to being a coastal city (it was before the Dark Age and Little Ice Age lowered sea levels)? I don't know. Did all Hell break loose the last two times it warmed like that? Nope. (The next time you read Paul's letter to the Ephesians, think about the fact that it was a port city 2,000 years ago, now is not, evidence the earth has cooled a lot more in the past 2,000 years than it has warmed up.)
