That’s where I come out in many of these situations. One doesn’t always have to choose a side.
Tough situation for the jock. The lack of self-control in going so far as to kill the guy will likely result in prison time. However it might earn him some street cred in the slammer and make some think twice about messing with him.
I’m thinking similarly. Strange world. Glad I grew up over 50 years ago. Back then, this crap stayed in the closet, or it was justifiably blanket partied.
