Ain't funny to me. The old house we owned had public septic, but it was a conversion. There were still two old septic tanks buried in the back yard. One day, I hit one of the line caps with the riding mower and sheared it off. Didn't think anything of it until I heard my wife screech one day and there was a frog in the toilet bowl. (No, I don't know if he was doggie-paddling or doing the breast stroke.) Odd, to say the least. A couple of months later, I heard her screech again, and there was an entire snake skin along the baseboard - a snake had apparently come up through the bowl from the septic tank, and molted. The whereabouts of the snake remained a mystery - it either slithered out the doggie door or one of the aforementiond doggies found it to be an interesting chew toy. Needless to say, I found the open pipe and capped it that day.

(When aliens fly past Earth, they probably lock their doors.)

That’s like a scene out of “Alien”. You know something bad has happened.
