Actually the schools in Long Island and Westchester are still way superior to anything you have in Flori-duh, but you pay five figure property taxes to live in a top district. The main reason Florida doesnt attract successful companies or the tech industry are the horrendous schools statewide, sad to say. Keep in mind that Florida doesnt segregate their schools by town like NY does, and instead does it by county, so even if you live in a multimillion dollar home in a gated community in Boca Raton, your kids go to school with the good kids from Pearl City or central Delray.
Whatever. For 3,000 per month Im looking for a good school system. Sorry. And I mean for the community. For that kind of dough, I want to have a conversation with the neighbor kids not compete with their phone Theyd better be aware of what goes on in the world for that. Im not comparing the school to some other contemporary failure Im comparing them to homeschooling or private school. 3200 per month is a heck of a lot more than a college education and these schools suck for that price
