Really? I wonder what the author is basing this claim on, personal feeling alone? I get it, we all won't agree, there are always going to be differences and that's a good thing. But I don't buy the "most Americans" thing without some proof. Not going to let that claim slide un-challenged.
The "go somewhere and hide" phrase is interesting. Given the threatening actions by the left lately that is a very real consideration. Many Trump supporters are literally afraid to identify as such. This is entirely due to the prejudiced, even violent actions of the left. Now, how does that square with your claims of celebrating diversity, acceptance and such? You (the left) have to demonized and traumatized the right so much that many are afraid. Given the current state of affairs I do not believe the left gets to realistically claim anything like support of diversity. Lately anyone who strays from their agenda is immediately subject to intense, threatening, even physically/personally dangerous attacks.
"Most Americans" I believe are capable of disagreeing with respect. It is only the marginal extremist leftists who cannot abide by civil discourse. Perhaps it is the lack of actual factual argument that leads to their inflammatory rhetoric???
Hidw?
2020 will bring more than hiding.
They seem to believe that bullying people into silence means there’s now no opposition left.
They’re really going to hate election day. They live in “The Matrix” of their own creation, thinking everyone else is living in it too.
