It’s a sad existence when you can’t even let go of political divides on a holiday like the Fourth of July. For many leftists suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome though, holidays usually only crank the political divisiveness up to 11.

“Avengers” director and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” creator Joss Whedon took to Twitter on America’s Independence Day and decided to do what Hollywood celebrities typically do best when it comes to politics — spread fear and misinformation.

“We have a racist, fascist president who’s using armed thugs in law enforcement & illegal militias to keep us cowed & hopeless & he’ll take the 2020 election by armed force & blatant, treasonous criminality & that’s us now, we’re the country with concentration camps so happy 4th,” the director tweeted.

Calling the president “racist” and “fascist” is nothing new for a member of Hollywood’s elite, but saying he is using “illegal militias” to keep people “cowed” and “hopeless” is a bit new.

Whedon predictably provided no evidence for any of the nonsense he was spewing.

What a hysterical, delusional little drama queen Whedon is. According to his ex-wife, Whedon has a lot of personal issues to work on - hysteria and delusion seem to be among those issues. And this fruitcake is hired to make movies in today's Hollywood - no boycotts of his employers, no calls to fire him or blackball him from the industry by conservatives.

Not saying you're wrong or judging you in any way, but liberals would definitely not do the same - for them, ideology comes ahead of everything else. Any director who said something like this about Obama would be dead in Hollywood, and there wouldn't be a single liberal fan who'd stand by him.
