What’s it mean?
“Whats it mean?”
This is what’s cool about real science.
It means exactly what is says:
“This study shows that menatetrenone inhibited PGE2 release from cells by inhibiting both PG production steps, AA release from the membrane and PG synthesizing activity with AA.”
And then it does make a statement of what it could do - and note the word might:
“Inhibition of PGE2 production by menatetrenone might be important in improving bone metabolism.”
Do I want prostaglandin H synthase inhibited in my osteoblast-like cells?
Vit K plays a role in bone health.
What it doesn't say, which is VERY IMPORTANT is that Vit K blocks the action of certain blood thinners which could kill people who need to take them. A little information is a dangerous thing!
Its all Greek to me. Oops. Hope I didnt offend anyone.
Always take your D3 vitamins with K2.
