Direct the wife to a site such as zillow.com, to discover the bargains available in central PA. Schuylkill County, Northumberland County, Columbia County, etc. Big, beautiful homes for under $100k. You can find a solidly-built 3000sqft house with yearly taxes of around $1000, priced like a cardboard shack in Staten Island. And that’s not in the foreclosure category, or the tax sale list, where they’re even cheaper.
There’s a big old fixer-upper down the street from me, just went for around $16k; with a little paint and elbow grease, it could be selling for $160k. It’s on a street full of pretty Victorians. “For Sale By Owner” sign was gone in two weeks.
Ah, the fsbo’s! Old folks, and sometimes heirs, have houses they don’t want, or can’t afford to maintain, and they’ll happily take a few thousand in cash, or payments over a short term.
So if you want to get the wife on board, just turn her on to the house porn at zillow. ;)
Exactly!!
You wrote a mouthful of truth.
President Trump was too trusting of Paul Ryan. Ryan lied and slow walked the Wall until the clock ran out. He screwed President Trump. Ryan sabotaged the Wall. He is filthy, traitor, a globalist pig, and we can only hope that someday karma catches up with him.
The fight was pushed back three weeks not lost. Have liked Anne for a long time, but unless she is helping Trump in some kind of 3-d chess PR strategy, I think she is being silly. I think Trump knows what he is doing.
I pity the fool who marries this witch.
I take it all back.
You are right.
Trump is completely helpless against the federal judiciary, the MSM, the Democrats and the RINOs, and the Deep State.
That's exactly what I think!
Except on certain business issues, Trump was always a center-right Democrat before he decided to run as a Republican.
On the other hand, Trump was the most Conservative candidate who could win the election, so I voted for him in 2016, and I'll vote to reelect him in 2020.
My top two issues are Immigration and Federal Spending.
Trump gets a F-minus in both subjects.
Trump has made it crystal clear that he will never deport any illegal immigrants unless they are violent criminals.
He will never enforce Universal E-Verify, he has not cut back H-1B Visas, he has expanded the foreign student OPT work visa, and until quite recently, he conducted fewer workplace raids than Barack Obama.
He has done nothing consequential to stop our “Catch and Release” border policy. And once Trump is out of office, The Wall will be completely useless, because no Democrat is ever going to enforce it.
As to Federal Spending, Trump's Fiscal 2018 budget deficit was $780 billion. In the first two months of Fiscal 2019, Trump's budget deficit was already $105 billion higher than the first two months of Fiscal 2018!
Like I said before, if Conservatives don't hold Trump's feet to the political fire, who will?
No.
Like the Conservatives who want existing immigration laws to be vigorously enforced, and like Conservatives who think Trump's massive budget deficits are fiscal insanity.
Re: “How many lazy ####s actually called their congressmen or even voted in the congress elections?”
Republican turn out in the 2018 midterm was the highest in 50 years.
Unfortunately, Democrat turn out was also the highest in 50 years.
Bottom Line....
The Democrats have more legal voters than the Republicans.
When the Democrats get their core legal voters to the polls, we lose.
And I say it is looking like we don’t deserve a President who works so hard and relentlessly for We the People, against such an army of evil and with such a fickle base....
If PDJT declares the state of emergency, he better couple it with a statement that he will ignore any injunction issued by an inferior court and proceed with wall construction anyway.
If he doesn't tell the commie judges to go f*** themselves, then he will not get another term.
