President Donald Trump's first official visit to the U.K. was marked by thousands of people demonstrating in the streets, first in London as Trump met with Queen Elizabeth and then in Scotland where he went to play a little golf.
Handmade signs at the massive protest in central London last Friday took aim at Trump's immigration policies and his past comments about women, among plenty of other topics.
Not everyone in the crowds came out to hate on Trump. Some were seen sporting his campaign slogan "Make America Great Again" on hats, according to the Associated Press.
But the majority were there to make sure their anti-Trump message was seen. This included the giant orange balloon caricature of the president as a screaming baby, complete with a giant diaper, quiff of hair and cell phone for tweeting, the AP said.
Here's a look at photos of some of the harshest signs that greeted Trump's trip to the U.K....

That is hilarious.
He described himself as 'My own family's heritage is Muslim. Myself and my four brothers were brought up to believe in God, but I do not practise any religion. My wife is a practising Christian and the only religion practised in my house is Christianity."
Germany would NEVER have invaded England. Yes operation sea lion was a plan, but Hitler not his generals abandoned it because even a crazed Hitler saw that invading England was a horrible idea.
Hitler actually wanted peace with England ! He hoped that Churchill would be happy to rule the seas and Hitler the land. All in all in a differwent time line where America stayed out and didn't enact land lease Germany would have had a much easier time with Russia. In turn the battle of britain might still have been lost but another campaign might have started and after a long war of attrition England would eventually be forced to a cease fire of sorts. No they'd never surrender to Germany and form a kinda vichy England, like what happened to France. But an end to hostilities would be inevitable.
This is not to say that the American role was not critical - it was -- but one cannot boil down VE just to one state
“Hitler actually wanted peace with England ! He hoped that Churchill would be happy to rule the seas and Hitler the land.”
BS. Hitler had plans of invading England and even tried to do so. Who do you think you are deal with on FR, your typical liberal public school idiots??
They expected peace with "a fellow Aryan Germanic nation" of England.
hitler's plan was clear - the English were fellow Aryans who would be allowed to keep their Empire as it was whites ruling over "subhumans" (in the Nazi terminology).
Do some reading on this - I'd suggest you start with Willim L Shirer and Ron Rosenbaum's "the rise and fall of the third reich" followed by Adam Toozes Wages of Destruction,
Did you read what I wrote? I didn’t downplay America’s role. America was critical to VE, critical. But it was not the SOLE reason Britain didn’t fall to the Nazis. Finally, even if the US stayed out completely (no lend lease even), the UK would have at worse gone neutral - the Nutzis had no means to physically invade and “make everyone speak German”.
If that’s the best they can do it’s no wonder the UK is falling to the muzzies.
Those signs are not harsh. They are a JOKE!
