Actually it didn't work out that way. Russians were the majority in the USSR and were/are Slavs, but that didn't make them any more popular among Poles or Czechs and the Croats, Slovaks and Bulgarians (all Slavs) all fought against the Russians, on the side of Germany. Serbs have always been pro-Russian

While related to the Germans in terms of language were the Austrians, Dutch, norwegians, Danes and Swedes and English -- and the Dutch, norwegians, Danes and English fought against the Germans.

Racially all were Indo-Europeans, so Sh!tler's Aryan idea was insane -- there are more blue-eyed blondes among Poles than among Germans
