A message for white people:
I know how jarring it may be to hear a non-white person, or maybe anyone, even say the words “white people,” as it can take on a pejorative connotation. That’s fine. This isn’t always comfortable to have to say, but that doesn’t make it any less true, necessary, or timely.
Before I get started, I want to be clear, this is for all white Americans. To my friend, to my foe. To my colleagues, my contemporaries, and my competitors. To the professional athlete and the pee-wee league coach. To my family members. From late night hosts to news anchors, faith leaders to police officers. School teachers, small business owners, and service workers. For allies and detractors, everyone.
I don’t have to waste much of my word count on how Donald Trump has been trying to bring us together… around dividing us into sides. It’s not necessary to explain the ways in which his rhetoric - via speeches at rallies, non-stop tweets, and numerous pieces of policy - has sought to elevate the discourse… to just beneath the floorboards.
There is more than enough coverage on all of that, but what this president has done to you, whether you voted for him or not, is put you into an awkward position that either requires your vocalizing your opposition to separate yourself or gleefully accepts your consent by only requiring you do nothing.
Yes, white people your trial subscription to Donald Trump’s America is over and you have to opt-out or start paying for it.
Sorry, but not sorry, you’re going to have to take a side. And yes, you have to do it now.....

The author is just another anti-white racist. I’m tired of being judged just because I’m white. All my life I’ve had to listen to this crap.

It’s impossible to prove a negative, but even if you could prove you’re not racist, they just fall back to an even less provable judgement: we’re guilty of having benifited from “white privilege”.
This passive aggressive psycho babble reminds me of the social drinker’s dilemma: in psychobabble world, it is widely held that denying you are an alchoholic is a symptom of alcoholism. And the way to prove a woman is not a witch is throw her in the water - if she drowns, she wasn’t a witch.
As absurd and spurious the invention of “white privilege” may be, this author has gone one step further: even if you are 100% innocent, you must judge and condemn other whites (Trump) in order to be truly absolved.

What he - and others like him - doesn’t get is that “choosing sides” in a war is no good when there are no uniforms.
If race-based violence breaks out where you are - all that will matter is your skin color. The fact that you’re a Social Justice Warrior wearing a Che shirt and a rainbow headband will mean nothing.

The laundry list of things Donald Trump is doing to separate a segment of white Americans from one another, along with the rest of this country is ringing a proverbial bell that can’t be un-rung.
Notice how the author never gets around to listing any of this "laundry list" of "things Donald Trump is doing"? It's not intended to engage readers' reason. It merely takes for granted that Trump = bad and YTs are complicit in some nondescript kind of way.
Emotional appeals are the weakest and emptiest kind of rhetoric.
It's the same when they 'give the knee' at NFL games. It's a 'holding my breath until I turn blue' tantrum tactic UNTIL YOU solve my problems. Shameful. It's nuts.
Blacks need to take responsibility - - solve their own damn problems. Black violence, black murder rates, black family dysfunction, black murder rates, black illiteracy rates, black unemployment rates, black prison percentages - all those and MORE are the responsibility of the BLACK COMMUNITY.
Liberal victim groups take their cues from the 'Hillary's Book - What Happened' mentality. Like Hillary the black community looks on the world and points fingers at hundreds of people to blame for their own failures. It's stupid. They need to point their fingers at themselves. Just like Hillary needs to do.
What if white people decided to 'march in the black community' to get blacks to lower our taxes? Would that be seen as silly? You betcha.... If WE want lower taxes it's our responsibility to lower the debt, elect intelligent Representatives and effectively express our reasons why it's necessary to our fellow citizen. It's NOT to "march' in the black community and DEMAND they do something to solve a problem we're concerned about.

The job of the black community IS to deal with the high murder rates, violence, broken families, high prison rates, high unemployment AND a bad reputation they've earned with other races etc etc etc.
White people don't tell black children to go into crime. We don't build communities that aren't safe for other races to drive through. YES, we're NOT the only 'other race' that's noticed black out-of-control violence. The black community has a 'bad reputation' problem. It's the opposite of 'white reputation - which blacks call 'white privilege'... We have EARNED the first 5 minutes if acceotabce our white skin accords us. Just like blacks have 'earned' the first 5 minutes of doubt their color has 'given' them.
Blacks need to solve their own problems and they need to stop pointing the finger at everyone else.

We do put up with crap from others for having the temerity to think freely, but not from the right. All the grief we get is from the left - who despise us more than they do white conservatives. We're actual traitors in their eyes.
I know sometimes the rhetoric in Freeperland gets heated about matters of race but you and all Patriots are loved and appreciated.

It matters to many, if an American figure of speech is denigrated.
Believe me, I completely understand. I have a hard time not generalizing myself, where it comes to the shameful antics of so many blacks.
But, due to my obvious circumstance, I know better. There are lots of decent black folks, but few notice them because they don't do outrageous things.
