The women’s vote was always a problem for the Republic. It started very small and ineffective at first because women did what it was charged that they would do, they voted as their husbands of fathers voted but it grew from there. Women have different biological needs from men. Men at predisposed to prefer freedom and women want security and protection for their children and themselves. As marriage disintegrated and husbands no longer provided that security for more and more women, more and more women voted for that security. They marry the government and vote accordingly. Freedom and independence is not a very large value for women in the aggregate. Single women vote heavily Democrat. Married women (white women, at least- those not raised to a welfare culture) vote Republican. Affluent college educated single women vote Democrat. No matter how independent they are they vote for a Husband.
The majority of white women voted for Trump.

This time they voted for one of their own. They listened to the fantasies woven by the media and believed all the horribly inaccurate polls and fervently held dear the promise that, "This Time it was Their Turn.".....then the votes were counted.
