Yes I think the 1964 civil rights act was a reach too far and opened the door to the grievance industries and destroyed freedom of association and ushered in affirmative action and racial quotas
And led to folks being forced to support gay marriage in their businesses and so forth
It was the impetus of the entire civil right shakedown industry we all suffer from now
Which is why William Buckley and Goldwater and Reagan all opposed it
