More than ten thousand people have been killed in Kiev’s punitive operation in southeastern Ukraine since April, said a Ukrainian parliamentary group. The MPs addressed the president urging to declassify information on citizens killed.
The Ukrainian parliamentary group “For peace and stability” said on Friday that the figure was given by volunteer groups working in the east of the country, ITAR-TASS reported.
“We have estimated that just in the first two weeks of July nearly 2,500 Ukrainian soldiers were killed in the area of the ‘anti-terrorist operation’,” the group said in a statement in the Verhovnaya Rada (Ukraine’s parliament).
“The number of wounded during the same period was more than 5,000 people. Thousands of civilians fell victim to military actions. Most of them died from shrapnel wounds. Thus, the preliminary number of the Ukrainians killed during the anti-terrorist operation, is more than 10,000 people according to our estimates,” said the co-chairman of the parliamentary group, Sergey Gorokhov.
The MPs also addressed Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and the government, urging to “declassify the official data on the amount of people - civilians, Ukrainian soldiers, and everyone who took part in the anti-terrorist operation – who were killed.”
Gorokhov stated that the president receives a report on the people killed in the operation every day, but it is classified. Meanwhile, the families of those missing in the military operation zone petition the government each day in the “hope that their close ones will be found,” he added.

If something is posted from RT or Ria Novosti, OF COURSE it is going to be from the Russian perspective, or more importantly, the Russian position on a subject. The same way something posted from Ukrinform, (the official Ukraine Propaganda service), the Kiev Post is going to be.
But, there are several ID’s on FR that have a FAR different agenda than divining truth through the fog of propaganda. They have no interest in discussing anything.
They are blatantly pro-Kiev, and try to shout down anything that doesn’t fit in with today’s “Current Truth”. Several articles have been deleted over the last several weeks due to “infighting”, and that achieves exactly what they wanted. A position that might make Kiev look bad, or is counter to the Kiev propaganda gets silenced.
This is the exact same tactics the libs used in 2008, and again in 2012 if you remember, on websites all over the internet. How the constant stream of childishness from these people is beyond me, but it is not my site.
I think with Ukraine we will see similar over time.....one thing that's ‘a certainty’....Kiev itself has indeed bombed and killed many in the East where there was no threat....that is not to say other parties aren't also creating situations, because they are.
But dang it it's impossible to get the whole picture on Ukraine because of these constant efforts of other Freepors to sabotage and prevent debate and discussion!...which is their goal IMO. (sidenote: Our Egypt thread was so informative and precise that Israel had their people watching it as well as other significant parties here and abroad, though few were aware of this at the time.)

Thank you for noting that...it’s occured pretty much on every thread....and for that I finally just went to another website where we do post all sides of the issue...debate and discuss...and much to my disappointment I felt led to do that as great thinkers and seekers of truth usually want to know the truth here on FR no matter where it leads.

Malaysia’s flagship English-language newspaper, charged the US and European-backed Ukrainian regime in Kiev with shooting down Malaysian Airlines flight MH 17 in east Ukraine last month. ....The US and European media have buried this remarkable report, which refutes the wave of allegations planted by the CIA in international media claiming that Russian president Vladimir Putin was responsible for the destruction of MH17.
US analysts conclude MH17 downed by aircraft,” lays out evidence that Ukrainian fighter aircraft attacked the jetliner with first a missile, then with bursts of 30-millimeter machine gun fire from both sides of MH17. The Russian army has already presented detailed radar and satellite data showing a Ukrainian Sukhoi-25 fighter jet tailing MH17 shortly before the jetliner crashed. The Kiev regime denied that its fighters were airborne in the area,
...an emerging theory postulated by local investigators that the Boeing 777-200 was crippled by an air-to-air missile and finished off with cannon fire from a jet that had been shadowing it as it plummeted to earth.”
It cited “experts who had said that the photographs of the blast fragmentation patterns on the fuselage of the airliner showed two distinct shapes—the shredding pattern associated with a warhead packed with ‘flechettes,’ and the more uniform, round-type penetration holes consistent with that of cannon rounds.
The New Straits Times report constitutes a powerful accusation not only against the Ukrainian government, but against Washington, Berlin, and their European allies. They installed the Kiev regime through a fascist-led putsch in February. They then deployed a series of intelligence operatives and Blackwater mercenaries who are closely coordinating the various fascist militias and National Guard units fighting for Kiev on the ground in east Ukraine, where MH17 was shot down.
These forces now stand accused not only of stoking an explosive political and military confrontation with Russia on its border with Ukraine over the MH17 crash, which threatens to erupt into nuclear war, but of provoking the confrontation through the cold-blooded murder of 298 people aboard MH17.
These events also constitute yet another indictment of the Western media, who have completely blacked out the investigation of the crash of MH17 and the latest material in the New Straits Times.
Kiev regime officials are continuing to stonewall the investigation, refusing Malaysian requests for information about MH17, such as the record of communication between the doomed plane and air traffic controllers in Kiev.

‘Old’ war warriors will always see anyone who does not stand with their view as Russian Propagandists.... just ask Breedlove and other military leaders who are looking at the situation from today rather than the past... they understand that ‘mindset’ is getting in the way of resolving Ukraine’s crisis and not helpful.
