So when did Ann's and Obama Sr.'s "whatever happened happened fast" wedding happen? For no apparent reason, confusion abounds among Obama's biographers over the wedding date:
1. Dreams claims that Ann and Obama Sr. were in married "in 1960"; similarly, Mendell's 2007 book claims that the couple were married "sometime in late 1960" when they "slipped off alone to the island of Maui"; and both Obamaland (2008) by Ron Jacobs (with contributor David Maraniss) and a 2007 Washington Post article claim that the two were married "late in 1960."
2. A 2007 Chicago Tribune article vaguely claims that Ann and Obama Sr. were married "six months before" Barack's birth on Aug 4, 1961 -- or, in other words, sometime in early 1961.
3. An April 2008 Time article by Amanda Ripley, as does Maraniss's August 2008 article, gives a specific date of February 2, 1961 for the wedding, apparently based on Ann's and Obama Sr.'s 1964 divorce records – mysteriously appearing on the web. But since fake documents have been known to appear on the web, Obama's biographers, Ripley and Maraniss, might want to verify the 1964 divorce documents – especially since a Feb. 2, 1961 marriage date for "Ann and Obama Sr." wasn't reported in any Honolulu Advertiser or Honolulu Star-Bulletin marriage lists from February 1961. Take the February 8, 1961 Star-Bulletin, which listed eighteen marriages from Feb. 3, Feb. 4, and Feb. 6, and no Feb. 2 marriages, and the February 7, 1961 Advertiser, which listed eleven marriages from Feb. 2 to 4, including two Feb. 2 marriages.

That’s pretty much the story that I’ve always believed is true. The way I heard it is that Stanley Ann was a rebellious wild child and had an affair with Frank Marshall Davis to piss off her parents. She got pregnant by him.
The way I heard it was that her dad was under cover for CIA or FBI. His security clearance would’ve been history if the word got out that his daughter was in bed with the infamous commie union organizer who had been sent to Hawaii to infiltrate a working group — longshoremen, I think.
Grandpa knew Stanley’s baby would be black, and he didn’t want the real father’s name on the birth certificate. So he paid BO, a married student from Africa, to allow his name to be on the birth certificate.
That’s the story I heard that makes the most sense to me.
Thanks for the photos. I was particularly interested in that the Subud is a world wide association because it establishes the connection with certain dots in life of Stanly Ann. The photos do nothing in my appraisal to disclaim my other dots. I know of short men who can have tall sons as it happened in my family and other features such as ears and mouth features can be useful. Not to be too picky but I would like to see another comparison in similar apparel. The one I have of at an earlier age in typical western dress is much better as too a comparison.

Well hello there! How do we try to explain that the kenyan and Anna Toot were married, just like the kenyan wrote home to his family, and not long after, he wrote again to tell them he had a son?
And that neither of these two were zero and Stanley Ann Dunham?

first time I ever heard that story. Many here believe that Frank Marshall Davis is Obama’s father. For proof there are porn pictures of obama’s mother that circulate around made by frank marshall davis as well as pictures of davis’s daughter who looks strikingly like Obama.
Sigh. Entirely debunked on several threads. The “exotic” photos are of another woman and have nothing to do with FMD either. One of the magainzes with salacious photos of the woman supposedly Stanley Ann was printed in 1958 when SAD was around 15 and not the least bit attractive, nor looked at all like the mature woman in the photos.

While the kenyan student makes himself a PITA at Harvard and ends up being almost politely tipped out of the country, he’s cost the US heaven knows how much pain and aggro, it’s doubtful he was ever qualified to even apply for a scholarship to anywhere in the US because he had an arrest record in Kenya before he left. And when he did return, guess what? He worked for an oil company, not the government, because Mboya didn’t give him a job. He had to wait until another so called buddy of his became finance minister before he began his government job. And when Mboya was killed, he was the last man to see him alive, and had to surrender his passport.
And all this is available on the web, if anyone ever cared to look it up.
But in the minds of the majority who voted for zero, the kenyan student is an exotic figure of romance who married the milk-white teenager from Kansas...when in fact, he was a total rogue, who, when Harvard grew thoroughly sick and tired of him, picked up his little black boy and hot-footed it back to Kenya, with Ruth trailing after him some weeks later.
Notice, there’s been no need to include Stanley Ann Dunham or little zero in the story? It’s almost as if they were added later...
