So when did Ann's and Obama Sr.'s "whatever happened happened fast" wedding happen? For no apparent reason, confusion abounds among Obama's biographers over the wedding date:
1. Dreams claims that Ann and Obama Sr. were in married "in 1960"; similarly, Mendell's 2007 book claims that the couple were married "sometime in late 1960" when they "slipped off alone to the island of Maui"; and both Obamaland (2008) by Ron Jacobs (with contributor David Maraniss) and a 2007 Washington Post article claim that the two were married "late in 1960."
2. A 2007 Chicago Tribune article vaguely claims that Ann and Obama Sr. were married "six months before" Barack's birth on Aug 4, 1961 -- or, in other words, sometime in early 1961.
3. An April 2008 Time article by Amanda Ripley, as does Maraniss's August 2008 article, gives a specific date of February 2, 1961 for the wedding, apparently based on Ann's and Obama Sr.'s 1964 divorce records – mysteriously appearing on the web. But since fake documents have been known to appear on the web, Obama's biographers, Ripley and Maraniss, might want to verify the 1964 divorce documents – especially since a Feb. 2, 1961 marriage date for "Ann and Obama Sr." wasn't reported in any Honolulu Advertiser or Honolulu Star-Bulletin marriage lists from February 1961. Take the February 8, 1961 Star-Bulletin, which listed eighteen marriages from Feb. 3, Feb. 4, and Feb. 6, and no Feb. 2 marriages, and the February 7, 1961 Advertiser, which listed eleven marriages from Feb. 2 to 4, including two Feb. 2 marriages.

We can only speculate as to what’s going on. One thing we know: Mark has been very open about the fact that his new book corrects a litany of misstatements [read ‘lies’] in Dreams. Has he perhaps been too open? He could well be discovering that a POTUS who is also a Malignant Narcissist has great influence w publishers and distributors. It may come about that Mark will be all but completely frozen out of the market.
Lets hope he finds a way to distribute this book effectively. It could be that his corrections to Dreams are more potent than anyone has so far grasped. How ironic, if Mark proves to be the linchpin of Obama’s downfall. Given his position, he could actually be the one to make it happen.

The 500-page book includes an appendix listing a number of alleged factual errors in Obama’s 1995 memoir, “Dreams from my Father,” such as quotes incorrectly attributed to Ndesandjo’s mother.
“It’s a correction. A lot of the stuff that Barack wrote is wrong in that book and I can understand that because to me for him the book was a tool for fashioning an identity and he was using composites,” Ndesandjo said.
“I wanted to bring it up because first of all I wanted the record to be straight. I wanted to tell my own story, not let people tell it for me,” he said.
Oh boy...COMPOSITES! That wouldn’t go down too well.

I did the pre-order of the book today. And, yes, I received the standard confirmation email after I placed the order. On that email they placed the “Amazon Settlement Credit” deduction in the “promotion” row.
After I made my earlier post I did a google search of “Amazon Settlement Credit” and found out that it stemmed from some sort of lawsuit that Amazon settled and involves giving Amazon book credits for customers in certain states. Google for more details.
I have long thought that was one of the weirdest photoshop jobs I have ever seen. Just look at the hands. Weird.
E.G., in re the "marriage." The divorce papers refer to it. But somehow those pages that ought to exhibit the marriage document are missing from the file (Surprise, Surprise.) Quite possibly, the only existing proof of the mysterious marriage is the divorce.
OK, so I’m REALLY late to this party [thread], but most of this talk about the CIA an/or Russian grooming to manipulate him into the presidency is very old, well known to me from the time it first appeared long ago . . . .

WHO is the CIA?? Who pulls their strings, that they should pull strings to get Obama elected and maintained in office?
Are the CIA and the Commies in cahoots? To what shared purpose would they be working all these years, and with not a single suspicion from any administration or news organization?
Who is this HUGE money that would seemingly already have to own the world - long before Obama appeared - to be able to pull this off?

Thread article links to BHO Sr.’s INS FOIA documents but omits the explicit claim in those documents that BHO Sr. and Stanley Ann Dunham were married on a date that corroborates the HI divorce record.

On the record in HI it appears that Barry’s claimed parents were legally married and divorced, so in HI Barry would not be a bastard as there is no record that the legality of this marriage was legally contested. The INS notes show a clear intent of INS to contest the marriage based on bigamy IF Sr. attempted to change his status from student to immigrant.
IMO, in Kenya, the tribal marriage to Kezia was legal and bigamy was precluded for tribal marriages under UK Kenyan colonial law. That law has only been changed THIS YEAR to allow legal bigamy.
So in Kenya the Hawaiian marriage would likely have been ruled bigamous and no child of bigamy could become a UK subject...so Barry would NOT have been a dual citizen UK subject at birth...IF he ever claimed UK dual citizenship at birth (there is no evidence of that yet other than a statement made during his campaign).
If Stanley Dunham (Sr.) never attended college, what would he be doing mentoring someone at a university?
The official story is actually much simpler.
