Many years ago I read, in a book on psychological disorders, about a young man from the back hills of Arkansas, whose mother died when he was born, and he was ONLY raised around men.
During WWII, when drafted, the military noticed something wrong with him so gave him the standard homo tests.
They showed him photos of nude women, no reaction.
Then they showed him photos of nude men, no reaction.
They couldn’t figure it out till one doctor looked at the records of his upbringing.
This doctor then showed him photos of a cow. Instant reaction!
Can’t say I’m surprised about New Mexico.
