White conservatives often criticize Black people for being too quick to play what they call "the race card." On the other hand, many Black people criticize America for not being sensitive enough to the reality that race plays in American life. George Zimmermans trial for the murder of Trayvon Martin clearly validates the Black communitys point of view.
Trayvon Martin is dead for no other reason than he was born Black in America. Thats a non-debatable fact. Had he been a White kid, Trayvon would have still been alive today. Yet, even as the jury is out deliberating Zimmermans fate, theres a raging debate going on in America over whether or not Zimmerman was justified in taking this mere childs life.
Regardless to the eventual verdict in this case, the trial itself clearly demonstrates how the laws of the land are routinely bent against the interest of the Black community, while still managing to maintain the illusion of justice for all.
The bottom line is, Trayvon Martin was guilty of absolutely nothing. He was simply engaged in an activity that millions of kids - good kids - engage in all across this country on a daily basis. He wasnt casing the neighborhood in preparation to commit a crime, he wasnt walking down the street smoking dope, nor was he walking the street in search of a potential victim. He was simply an innocent kid on his way home after going to the store to buy a bag of Skiddles and a soft drink. So how, in a just society, can he end up dead, and his killer - an armed adult, who stalked him, and outweighed him by forty pounds - can now be claiming self-defense in his murder? The very scenario strains credulity to the limit.
One would think the facts above would be crystal clear to every single person in America - and they would be if the situation was exactly reversed. If Trayvon Martin had been the adult in this scenario, and he stalked and killed a White kid under the exact same circumstances - if he stalked the kid, weighed forty pounds more than his victim, and he was armed while the kid was not - chances are, he would already be on Death Row, for First Degree Murder - that is, assuming he survived to reach the police station.
So while I dont take the position that all White people are malevolent, nor am I one who looks under every rock for the existence of racism whenever Black people dont get their way, I do stand firm in the belief that racism is such an historically pervasive part of American life that many Americans - both Black and White - harbor grossly racist attitudes towards Black people that are so deeply ingrained that they dont even recognize it themselves.
You dont think so? Watch any hip hop video and count the number beautiful dark-skinned sisters you find. I guarantee you, youll find very few - and even when a dark-skinned sister is so strikingly beautiful that they cant avoid using her, theyll usually shine a light on her to make her look orange.
So I reiterate, Trayvon Martin is dead due to the gross racism of a grossly racist society - Period.

Wait till the jurors find out what was not put into evidence....the fight videos, the facebook, the language
There will be riots. At least, if he’s not convicted there will be. I personally feel strongly that he will be convicted by ckn poopoo scaredy cat leftists who can’t even see what is before them.
He did? Well, why didn’t he just shoot his “Black Jazz” right away instead of taking an azz beating? /S
These guys are just begging for a riot. I bet Barry already has his speech already written.
I can accept the gentleman's premise. Because being born 'Black in America' greatly increases your chance of being infected with the 'chip on your shoulder' disease, and having a quick trigger to lash out at any perceived slight. It ingrains a lawless behaviour into the young folk's minds, and a belief that the world (particularly the non-Black in America world) owes you something.
So sure, had he been a 'white' or hispanic fellow or a Black who had been born and raised in Africa - there would have been a much lower chance of him having assaulted someone because he didn't like his remarks (or the way he looked at him).
This is a terrible cultural disease, and it takes an outstanding character to rise above it. And when they do rise above it they are forever branded as 'Uncle Toms' by the 'Black in America' crowd.
But, unfortunately these outstanding characters are far and few between. Most people having been raised in this environment have had their minds poisoned - and everything they see is through the prism of racial grievances and perceived past (and unforgiven) sins. There is a cure, and He is called Christ ('Be ye kind, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God, for Christ's sake, has forgiven you'), but unfortunately many of the pastors to this community are false shepherds and are afflicted with the same disease - and they just pour gas on the flames.
Martin is dead because he had a habit of punching people who offended him in the face. That is a habit that will eventually catch up with you.
Ohhh... got it..
Jumping people, sitting on their chest and bashing their head on the ground.
Yeah - I see that in my neighborhood all the time.
Why does anyone lend credibility to these lowlifes?
Just to think about where else in the World TM would have been treated better.
It was in college I learned that Africans have zero respect for American blacks and consider them to be nothing but trouble.
So where should TM have been born black instead?
This was such an isolated case and the facts don’t support racism against TM. Period.

Maybe TM would have come to his senses and not killed Zimmerman. But I have to wonder, once he attacked and was beating Zimmerman, he really needed to finish the job or else be identified and put in prison.
If Tres Von is dead because he was “born black in America,” then everyone “born black in America” must also be dead. End of issue ...
Those of us raised in or around black communities or who attended black high schools understand perfectly the scenario encountered by Zimmerman.
Black culture killed him. Complete lack of self control and a desire to be seen as a hardened thug got him one planted in the chest.
Black culture is created by blacks as a reflection of themselves, their attributes, and their values.
Culture doesn’t create people, people create culture...either it is good or bad....
Thugs gravitate to bad cultural behaviors...
That is not going to happen (sadly) because too many people like Rev Sharpton make too good a living trumpeting the lie and too many blacks get too many benefits from the political advantage that the lie buys them.
Then there is the fact that white guilt is so deeply rooted in the Liberal Intelligencia that it would take a nuclear weapon to dislodge.
The logical end of this type of “discussion” ends up with blacks being the slaves of Muslims. Full circle.
Reminds me of a very pleasant foreign trip my wife and I (both white) took not long ago. Coming back through American Customs we had to wait for final clearance by a uniformed black woman. She was on her cell phone and dawdled and dawdled, obviously delaying just to annoy us. She finally finished, glared at us with practiced hostility, then studied our papers for an extra-long time. She eventually but reluctantly nodded for us to proceed.
As we walked past her we both broke into laughter. "Welcome back to the U.S.A.," my wife quipped.
Their A-holes are victims every morning before they shave or put on makeup.
Just talking with a friend from Venezuela and he asked where the term White Hispanic came from. He was of course being sarcastic but, he finds it odd that in the 2013, in America, there still people like this, with the power to push an agenda none of us ever gave thought too....until they created it.
Delusional claptrap.
