MSNBC host Rev. Al Sharpton weighed in with his thoughts on the trajectory of the George Zimmerman trial on Wednesday after a medical examiner testified about the nature of the fatal wounds he inflicted on Florida teen, Trayvon Martin, in 2012. Sharpton said that it made little sense to him that Zimmerman did not use his recent training in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) to incapacitate Martin during their struggle and instead used his firearm.
Now host Alex Wagner highlighted a portion of the medical examiner’s testimony who testified that Martin’s right hand was not injured extensively, suggesting he was not “raining blows” down on Zimmerman as previous testimony had indicated.
“If he was raining blows, MMA-style, you think there would be some physical evidence of that on his fists,” Sharpton said.....

Because Martin was 6’2” and Zimmerman only 5’8” — a 6 inch height differential and a concommitant reach differential as well that no amount of training could overcome.
He didn’t stand a chance and that is why Martin sized him up and checked him out to make sure he could take him and like the coward he was he then struck the first blow — a sucker punch.
Cowardly punks like Martin and you Al never give a guy a fair fight. You sucker punch him and then gang up on him like the thugs you are.
I hope Zimmerman successfully sues every network, journalist, newspaper companies, etc. Everybody who had a hand in trying to send him up the river and cause his life to be in danger.
He was heavier but shorter.

I thought after the original punch in the face, Treyvon did not hit him - he bounced Zimmerman's head against the sidewalk.
Still, if he did punch Zimmerman in the nose, wouldn't he have some pretty puffed up knuckles? Unless he somehow protected his hand or if he hit him in the face with something like that "slim jim" type of thing.
They found that in the shrubbery. If that was Trayvon's, maybe he ditched in in the shrub while they were running around. One of the ear-witnesses said it sounded like they were running around the courtyard.

Which would be an exercise in futility, as Sharpton has previous judgements, never paid, against him for the Tawana Brawley debacle. Zimmerman would get nothing, not even an apology from this racist buffoon...
