While it’s true that Nixon was removed from office in his second term, Nixon was a Republican. I should have been more specific. No one is going to remove President Obama on his second term. He’s not only a Democrat. He’s a minority, and his party controls the US Senate. Meaning? We’re stuck with him for another four years.

I don’t have time right now to go back but I did locate two cases a few years back where an elected official was “removed” from office because of a lack of eligibility that was found after the election. No impeachment necessary.
