What the Court did not do on its last day in session, I will do on my first day if elected President of the United States and that is I will act to repeal Obamacare."
"Well, I'm not getting rid of all of healthcare reform,...Of course there are a number of things that I like in healthcare reform that I'm going to put in place...one is to make sure that those with pre-existing conditions can get coverage."
0bama had the democrats ram this bitter legislation (or tax) down our throats and now Romney tells us he's giving us seconds?
This ONE thing means he's not getting my vote. Let 0bama finish trashing Amerika with 4 more years.
One more politician, one lie too many.
Over at DU, they probably like the idea of using the government to force health insurers to take on people with pre-existing conditions. After all, welfare’s real popular with those leftie types.
You watch out Oak, get out your flame protection suit.
There are many so called conservatives on FR that don’t want to read the true.
Guess what? Using the power of the state to force insurers to keep "children" past the age of 26 on their parents' policies, and using the power of the state to force insurers to take on people with pre-existing conditions isn't the way to go about fixing the system.
Good grief. Doesn't anybody here actually believe in the "free market" anymore?
There were actually a few decent ideas that snuck into the bill (not that anyone would have known, as nobody read it). But the job certainly needs to be full repeal and then go back and try to pass to good elements by themselves. Selective repeal would just be a mess.
O’s health care bill was passed unread by congress. Job one is to get rid of it. It should never have been passed by a congress that took seriously its constitutional role.
Then congress can do its job. Write its own bill. Debate the bill. Hammer out an agreement between the parties that the country can live with.
Like ought to have been done the first time.
So you don;t like Romney, fine, but quite frankly, he is the only person in a position to beat Obama in 57 days.
So, he's my man in order to save the country from another four years of the usurper and his Commie Choom gang.
You are either part of the problem or part of the solution. There is no third option.
I would love to, but your sign on date is 4/15/09.
Exactly right, OG.
The only long-term benefit I can see to Romney winning is that because his single term will be such a disappointing failure, enough of these "conservatives" here on FR and elsewhere might finally reach the point where they're willing to ditch the GOP and create a genuine conservative party that could appeal to independents and moderates on the basis of solid stands on principles and leadership, instead of unconvincing fearmongering. May the GOP go the way of the Whigs, and be replaced by a party that actually stands for something.
I am showing you that the idea that we have a choice is an illusion. The election about who can manage the growth of the nanny state most effectively.
Impeach rogue politicians that do not represent the will of the majority of their constituents. I say impeach because they are so entrenched by Gerrymandering they are all but impossible to vote out.
Yep, he even said during a TV interview that he was “glad” that Obama drew on Romneycare for inspiration.

In two months, Milquetoast Mitt will fall flat on his face because he impresses nobody and turns off prospective supporters with his constant flip-flops.
We've told them ... they know what we want. But if we don't get Obama out of office, it will be a futile effort undoing what he's done.
Oh, good grief, that music is boring.
If I don’t do what you want, I am part of the problem.
No, the problem is that so called conservatives roll over to the GOPe because next time we’ll get a real conservative candidate, really I promise lets just win this and then worry about that later.....
guess what each time the Republican candidate is more liberal than the last.
Sorry sweetie I am not dancing to that tune any longer.
Obama thanks you for your vote.
try the “NEXT” page. BACK!!! BACK!!!
You got that right.
Great link by the way.
I have been voting for 40 years—I really don’t need you to show me anything.
The only illusion I see is that people voting for Obama means America surviving as a country with him getting another term.
All politicians are imperfect, and all of them lie. In all forty years, it has been a choice between two imperfect candidates—this is no different.
The question is—who will do the least damage, given the choice we have.
A liberal ex-governor from Massachusetts who will repeal Obamacare and believes in free enterprise, or a no good Communist community organiozing, America hating usurper who has had four years experience in ruining AMerica and wants to finish the job?
57 days—one choice.
You decide.

I tried, ‘ratstool, but you’ve only been here for three.
BTW, you don’t get extra “seniority” for the time you spend at DU.
Now why don’t you take a cue from Clint Eastwood and go do something to yourself.
Ron Paul said so?
