Although in the past Romney has these worng positions, he indicates he has changed and now for the last 6+ years has been advocating conservative positions. People are using his past to judge him now. But his [POSTIONS NOW] make it clear what he is running on in 2012...as it did in 2008 when Jim supported him against McCain.
I would love to have a chance for Romney to show these changes are in fact solid and real by serving in the Senate or somewhere else for a few years...but now we do not have that luxury. He has picked Ryan, which is a much more conservative pick than many here felt he would make. And he is running against an abject Marxist who, with a will, and openly, is going about fundamentally changing our Republic and destroying it.
We do not have the luxury of years...we need to remove Obama now...and sad as it is, it will either be Obama or Romney for President. We need Romney in there with a majority House and Senate so he can enact what he has promised. If he does, the nation will turn around and Romney will be remembered in history as a huge turning point for the good of the Republic.
If we do not, Obama will drive us headlong into the ground.

THIS should be the sole driving focus for all of us right now.
Well said Jeff
Thank you Jeff, your opinion is right on target. There are others here who would benefit from your comments.
I hope your health is good. love from Houston. :)

Most normal folks would call this FLIP-FLOPping.
OOOOoooohhh!
I cannot fathom another election night with Obama being declared the victor. You are so correct, we would be headed straight to the ground if Obama is reelected. Compared to Obama, right now ole Bill Clinton is looking pretty damn good to me. And I never thought in a million years that I would ever think that much less post it! Take care.
as it did in 2008 when Jim supported him against McCain.

Was that a typo? Did Jim Rob support Romney over McCain in 2008?
-—”We do not have the luxury of years...we need to remove Obama now...”
JeffHead - Wonderful quote. I think that’s what a few people are missing here (including JimRob) — and you said it so well: WE DON’T HAVE THE LUXURY TO WAIT OUT ANOTHER OBMAMA TERM in hopes of something better.
Having the Bork Obunga Marxist Regime thugs in charge for 4 more years will most likely destroy our republic as we know it.
Those Freepers who want to sit it out this election are “AWOL in the fight” and appear to be oblivious to the economic Obamageddon we’ll endure if they don’t vote.
My hope is that they’ll come around. There’s so much to be optimistic in Paul Ryan.
