Except for his unfortunate go along to get along support of TARP, bailouts, stimulus spending and the increased credit limit, etc, Ryan is a pretty good choice. Probably the best choice of the RINOS that were on Romney's short list. I support Ryan for the vice presidency. Wish he were at the top of the ticket, though.
But I still cannot and will not support the grand father of ObamaCare. Romney still loves and brags about his bastard brainchild, RomneyCare, even today when he knows what an anti-liberty socialist POS it is.
And the fact that he advocated that abortion should be safe and legal in America for over three decades of his adult lifetime and even advocated that Roe v Wade should be supported and sustained as settled law precludes any consideration whatsoever by this pro-life Christian for Myth Romney for the presidency.
And the fact that he boasted that he would be better for "gay rights" than Ted Kennedy, and proved it just increases my resistance.
That, and his penchant for gun control, his continuing support for global warming, gays in the scouts, gays in the military, and his record of appointing liberal judges makes it all but impossible for me to support him.
Lastly, we're having a bit of changeover on our moderator staff. At least two moderators resigned this afternoon after I flatly refused to rein in a so-called anti-Mormon "bigot" on FR. Well, if being in opposition to false prophets and false prophecy makes a Christian believer a bigot, then I guess I'm a bigot. I've posted before that I flat do not believe that the Book of Mormon is the true word of God. Nor do I believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. The Christian bible warns us to be weary of false prophets and that I am. Romney being the presumptive Republican nominee does not change that fact.
If you want to believe Romney’s lies, there appears to be nothing to stop you. The man will say anything to be president, and apparently gullibles like you will eat it up like popcorn. The title of this thread is still utterly appropriate.
Me, too!
I’d HATE to be one of them and KNOW the judgement to come!!!!

You are the most vile person. I pity you. Don’t bother to respond to me again. By the way, they are talking about you on Twitter, They think you are insane and dangers anti- Mormom religious zealot.
So... your whole argument is that the acronym ABO doesn't use the word 'anybody'... even though you define it as Anybody But Obama?
I'm sorry, but that right there obliterates your complaint about my reading comprehension.
You would be hard-pressed to find any posts where Colofornian shows any hatred towards Mormons.
If you don't like him, fine.
But to insinuate that you are posting 3 years of blatant hate by him is absurd and looks just like a personal attack.
Question for you... when you fringe nuts run all the good freepers off, do you intend to take over their donations?
“Specifically, I’d be curious to hear your opinion about how long the current state of fiscal affairs can continue without a currency collapse;”
It stops the second the GOP congress stops approving his actions and defunds Obama’s agenda. Not a moment sooner. No RINO President required.
Demonstrate for me the error in my statement.
“When one has to rationalize their vote for a liberal abortion/homo supporting liar by using God to do it, they should perhaps rethink their position.”
I’m always on your side, Norm, ‘cause you are right.
Jeff Head is a good man and a real conservative.
Yes. Hyperinflated.
In 4 years there will be another election and Obama will not be on the ballot.
WOW, equating Reagan to liberal Romney. That is sad, in fact a new low.
Now you know the reason I stopped posting. I’ll probably be gone after tonight. I will expose the Kenyan Commie on other sites where I don’t have to wade through pages and pages of anti-Mormon crap by some lunatics.
If you want to believe Romneys lies, there appears to be nothing to stop you. The man will say anything to be president, and apparently gullibles like you will eat it up like popcorn.
I never said I believed Romney.
Your strawman fallacy, that I believe Romney, is assinine.
I have seen that happen, the pro-Mormonism people figured out that they can get so nasty and vile, that they can get a thread locked, or removed.
No, my whole argument is that I said Goode/Hoefling cannot defeat Obama and therefore are not serious ABO candidates to be considered by anyone who believes it is imperative to remove Obama.
If you really want to interpret that to mean Goode/Hoefling are not real “Anybodys,” as in not real people, then no, I wouldn’t brag about your reading comprehension skills.
Yes, he certainly is. And there’s very few remaining here who are even in his league, though they pompously believe otherwise.
I am reminded of the phrase ‘Lord, save me from your followers’ because if they are stupid enough (and their doing so shows conclusively that they are) to quote scripture in defense of the documented actions of Romney, well...
Conservatism and actual people of faith are not helped by those who twist things to their personal prefrence.
Not really. They were comparing him to Giuliani on the last go ‘round.
I hope you are joking. I suggest you check out the posts on this thread by Elsie and Colorfornian. I saved them with screenshots in case they disappear. PDF files. Let me know if you ever need them. I learned to do that long ago right after the Commie Kenyan was elected because things have a way of disappearing and it’s too hard to re-locate them if you even can. A couple of big external hard drives and you can save damn near everything you read or watch on the internet.
However, since you believe the danger is exaggerated because it is election time, here is your opportunity to explain to everyone how the current state of fiscal affairs really is sustainable after all.
***Why should I? My position is that the fears of the loss of our republic are overinflated. The “current state of fiscal affairs” will be resolved by raising taxes and cutting and all the same stuff that’s been done in the past.
Specifically, I’d be curious to hear your opinion about how long the current state of fiscal affairs can continue without a currency collapse;
***I’m a Socon. I don’t pay that much attention to fiscon issues. The last time we had a currency collapse was the Great Depression. We did not lose our republic at that time.
that is, if you even believe a currency collapse is more than just a fictitious bogey man thrown out by the CINOs every four years at election time.
***I believe it is a fictitious bogey man, yes I do. Just like the last big problem in 2008 when a bunch of idiotic companies were deemed “too big to fail”.
