Recuperation from the storms. Nine month saga with the county. major cleanup with branches hauled off house and garage. The trees I planted long ago and had to take down and cut up because otherwise they would disturb the road, pedestrians, parked cars, overhead lines during the storms. Noone told me to do this. It was my responsibilty. So I had some stacks, small stacks on a small parcel of a small house in Arlington as we are into winter and those very storms. The adjoining property has huge trees which rain hell upon me with branches laden with snow or ice. I should either have them cut again at my own expense or contact the county to find the owner-which goes nowhere. lot's of things which were the diversion I cut and hauled and faced they had a problem with the way I propped the backdoor porch when it had 3' of wet snow on it and a huge branch would crash down. The snow melts and the firewood is visable. I get a violation that my screen porch has ripped screen and some peeling paint. Also that my house and garage have damaged gutters etc. So I'm dealing with this to the tune of $700. When a certified letter arrived that my back porch was supported in a way that wasn't totally permanent or against code, i was already a little hot and decided I would take it down. So that took a two weeks due to storms and health. the dismantle and seperations and denailings required setting small sections out for pickup.So another section was repaired on the garage with the same special vents and downspout rerouted so it could deal with the limbs which continue to fall. So i'm getting rid of firewood and extra lawnmowers or whatever they consider "debri" in the yard. I've procurred new awnings of aluminum and braces and supports. The firewood has been removed, extra mowers gone and brush removed by me. So in May while I'm away they flash mob my property and starting at back door remove treadle sewing machine base under bush, heavy aluminum item, my weber grill and small file cab it's on with more than I recount along with every gutter/downspout adapters, hangers. They take the new awnings and supports right off the porch. They steal anything copper or magnesium like wheels stored So far from anyone's sight. anything of worth or easy. My car parts,my downspouts even the new one attached to the rebuilt gutter. Two entire metal cabinets are totally removed. The contents are aluminum stock, boat parts, weldments and tools. Only visable if already trespassing beyond my back door between two fences. Much more of weight. They managed to cart away the entire cast tables of an Oliver jointer planer I coulda sold in a minute and other historical iron things. This could all be gone into with further detail except i was working on "debri". So when I mention that to the inspector , in my outrage, he makes it very clear that there is All manner of small engines, parts,debri etc around the side ( he's worked in closer to my basement window than any thief in 35 years) this is between my side wall and 6'out a tall fence. SO. I'm still reeling from the theft and this guy means biz so I remove Everything except my remaining ladders. Everything gets hauled out by me and sorted, moved and special pickup. So then they come after my vehicles while I'm doing this. I have an antique neat car under a tarp behind a tall fence and it's gonna be towed and another. I Take Care of all that! $$$$$ out the .. between all this harassment. Then three months go by and I get a bill for $3600+ for the origional ripoff. i borrow the money to stop this for I have a heart condition. I cannot either sleep nor be awake. Family takes pity or whatever. The amount of time and work I've done to satisfy this particular devil inspector was wasted for certain things were sent certified and others weren't. So I receive another bill for $4000 and when I call the Compliance division over this, they don't even know what I'm talking about. It HAS TO BE PAID IMMEDIATELY or OTHER CHARGES APPLY yet it has to be checked into. Call another day. Then I see it clearer.. The three months when nothing was sent or sent certified it accrued interest and penalty. the bill of $3600 mentions an "automatic Enhancement Fee of 10% and a 15% Indirect Cost Fee applied to "Permit " fee. I have never received anything about this. It sounds like $460 were applied already because they knew I couldn't afford it and had to rely on another Then another $360 fee to "enhance" this to the next bill of $4000. I'm screaming for a lawyer and This is large and documented.

I shoulda been here along time ago recounting this As it happened. Arlington Va. When one has your number it’s livin almost hell. Almost for there is always worse.
Arlington, VA ? Nothing but rich, Socialist big gubmint moonbats and criminals (but I repeat myself). Sane people departed there long ago. Perhaps a nice, pleasant small town in the Shenandoah Valley ?

okay. I thought this was going on a side/ different area from general discussion. I would have done it differently. I commend anyone who got thu that, the compression of months of harassament -with a cherry on top :) $7,000 last I heard. So, You be totally rational going through this.

You know, it's interesting - for all the thousands of posts I've made over more than a decade - and for all the successful uses I've made of the <p> tag over the years, I've never really understood its behavior.The only way I can make it work is to follow every incidence of the <p> tag immediately with a "return" keystroke. And yet whenever I use the FR spell check, it reformats the text and in the process will embed <p> tags differently and still will produce the paragraph break effect. I gave up trying to figure out what it was doing that I wasn't, a long time ago . . .
For whatever reason there are a few souls to converse with. I saved a few dollars at Giant the other day and with a coupon saved $20 at Advance Auto. I figure if I do this about 600 more times in my life time i can recoup what the county charge me for. 10’X 12’ space. 2-3 hrs plus all the county bs laid on me.
tell you what.I’m bowing my head and working tears. It impacts me what just happened in ‘ganistan so recently. Oh DEAR LORD. Please, no blasphemy. Oh gosh. This ....something about being around here is that you meet really neat people. They aren’t in politics, they just have a JOB to do. The Best and the best Mates also. I may buy a drink or maybe they for me on occassion. Minutes of relaxation i was able to share some input on the game at that time. It was like normal. And then you never see them again. do you know. ican’t talk. I don’t Know slaughter on which there can be no price. I just know Overwhelming grief at times and mosquitos sucking out of me when weak.
