In the final episode of Sarah Palins Alaska on TLC which Governor Palin herself produced and had complete creative control over the Governor promised to let Bob and Mark know, on the air, when she decides to run for president. Since the Governor personally chose to have that bit included in the episode, there has to be a reason for this.
The Bob and Mark Show broadcasts Monday through Friday. Though tomorrow is Constitution Day, todays when Constitution Day is observed in most of the country. Its also a day when The Bob and Mark Show broadcasts.
Many believe the Governor will announce her presidential bid on the show today since she appears to indeed be scheduled as a guest at 930am PST which is 1130am CST and 1230pm EST.
I have no idea what will happen on the show, but Im going to tune in just in case.
If you hear anything else pertaining to this, please share the info in this thread.
It sure is interesting the Governor is booked on this show, today of all days, since restoring respect for the Constitution is one of the main planks in whats presumed to be the Governors presidential platform.
Tune into The Bob & Mark Show to see what happens!

PS: Ive been trying for a few weeks now to determine if Governor Palin has any public events scheduled for Constitution Day (observed today, or tomorrow 9/17/11). I have not been able to turn up anything, which is intriguing in itself.
We dont know what this means yet if anything but Im sure going to listen to The Bob & Mark Show to see if shes really going to be on, and to listen to what the Governor says if she does in fact appear on the show.

UPDATE: It looks like the source of this rumor is Simon Conway, who is a drive time radio host in Iowa, who said on Facebook that he saw something posted at a Palin supporting group about the Bob & Mark appearance before it was taken down. Conway seems like he wanted to be the first to say she was going to announce today, so he would get the attention that would come with that.
Looking at the GOP schedule of debates, though, I dont know what to think to be honest. Rick Perry loses more steam every debate, and the next debate is not until September 22nd. It sure keeps with Governor Palins past announcements to declare her candidacy on a symbolic day like Constitution Day but it also seems like part of her strategy to keep allowing Perry to further implode before she joins the race.
We all know the moment Governor Palin announces, shell be the sole focus, and guys like Perry wont get the vetting and media attention they need as her opponents.
The debate after the 22nd is in October, on a day when the Governor is scheduled to give a speech on economics in Korea. Technically, she could fly back in time to participate in the debate, since shed make up time on the 14 hour flight back to the States, though I dont know if shed be inclined to do this.
It seems odd for her to participate in the September 22nd debate, but then skip the one on October 18th, and then rejoin the group a debate after that unless her intention is to begin participating in the debates after the 18th.
That would give her opponents two appearances on the stage without her to attack her, and I dont see her allowing that to happen though.
I think even the Governors detractors need to admit shes a masterful strategist who keeps everyone guessing. She really brings great excitement to American politics. Honestly, my boyfriend Justin asked what I was typing so late and I told him, and now hes too excited to sleep and has actually woken his mother up in Arkansas to tell her to listen to this radio show. I told him not to do this, but hes excited at the mere prospect of Governor Palin announcing today.
I dont think even Mittens Romneycares own family are excited by anything he does. Let alone complete strangers.
Can you imagine someone like Justin calling his mother long distance in the middle of the night, waking her up, just to tell her theres a chance Mitt Romney could be on an obscure radio show in Alaska later that morning and that she would be excited and happy he did this?

Don’t have a link offhand, but that’s what she responded to a reporter when asked about her timetable when she was out at the Iowa State Fair last month. Basically, she admitted the reality that if she didn’t get in by early October, that it wouldn’t be fair to her supporters to ask them to wait any longer.
Also note that she had brief meetings with the O4P folks on both that trip and the one on Sept. 3. In neither case did she do anything to discourage their efforts.
Its called courtesy. When adults are having an adult discussion, they prefer to avoid the stale cliched whining of some fair-weather blowhards.
Courteous people generally avoid repeating the same thing over and over again ad nauseam. They also don’t engage in juvenile button pushing devil’s advocate mental breakdowns in front of people they just met.
You know, you can learn a lot more about courtesy in the cub scouts. Have you considered joining?
Oh, and thanks for having some manners and being willing to bridge differences. You might want to teach TexasGunRunner a thing about that....
Imagine the irony of someone trying to teach courtesy lessons, in the very same message in which he is insulting.
Imagine that irony.
Isn't Irony Ironic?
So long as I know who I’ve supported I am ok with myself.
It’s possible to check threads and find out what’s been posted in the past 4 years since the last election.
I was a Perry supporter in 1990. I pushed voter cards for him in Beaumont and Houston. I voted for him in every statewide election in which he ran.
He’s better than Romney, and they are both better than zero. That isn’t saying much.
If we get Perry, we loose a great opportunity and the status quo (including obamacare) will be cemented in place forever.
I believe the principle players in my 'beef' on this thread, and I, have likely worked things out -- with the help of DJ MacWow, who knows me fairly well, and who I respect.
So, I don't see why we need to slug away at one another, especially:

Perry, meh, but better than Romney. Romney, oh God, we're in trouble.
Not likely. Fortunately for you, I live in Maryland so it really doesn’t matter who I vote for. The only way I can show my support or non support is with my money. That I plan to do.
Well, with such a witty comeback like that...what can I say?
The real irony is not 15 minutes ago you were bragging about your new hobby being to irritate people gratuitously. Given your reaction to my posts, that seems really funny now you obviously don’t enjoy similar treatment.
In case you missed the common theme of my posts, I think your posts were incredibly immature and designed to stifle real conversation.
If you disagree with people fine, voice your opinion. If they tick you off, you can tell them so...although hopefully without resorting to grade school taunts.
Not that you care, but I don’t think you’re a troll, and I imagine you are generally a right thinking, intelligent person, or you wouldn’t be on FR.
Actually she has not said anything of the sort. Any reference to any statement that she would make a decision in Late August or Early September was shown to me to be nothing more than the AP reporter interpreting a vague statement that she gave to Hannity.
I don't think you can show me an exact quote from Palin that she will announce a decision "by the end of September, or early October at the latest." She hasn't committed to anything. But, like this radio stunt, she does seem to have no problem with letting the rumors fester.
I've got some greater respect for her RIGHT THERE. At least she's sensitive to that! That's very cool. I really hope she runs; I do fear she won't. I'd like to see her at least assemble her team in the next two weeks.... or else I gotta take down this poster about Sarah:
I guess we’re all in agreement here now. Everyone kiss and make up.
Palin more celebrity than politician at Iowa State Fair - August 12, 2011
Does she plan to make a run for president? There will be an announcement sometime in September or October.Whom does she support of the current candidates seeking the Republican nomination? It's too early to say.
Is there even room for more candidates, such as Rick Perry or herself, in the race? The more the merrier.
HOW DARE YOU SUGGEST THAT WE..... oh, wait. Sorry. LOL
Golly Laz. I’m sorry. I thought you knew she had given a time frame of end of Sept early Oct. I’d have told you if I had known you didn’t know.
Look, a lot of Palin supporters are not going to like this, but I don’t think she’s going to run. I can’t understand why she’d want to. Me, if I could have any job in the world, it’d be Supreme Court Justice. What a great, cushy, for life job.
I think Palin supporters are the life of this party. They have admired and stood by her since the beginning. It made it okay to vote for McCain. I think they have been treated horribly by the Perry supporters
I have issues with Perry, including the Dream Act and Gardasil, which I believe everybody around here would be screaming about if a Rat had done the same things, but the real problem I have is with his supporters. That may be wrong but, there it is.
Talk about positions she holds on government. They don't.
Like I said, I think we should de-escalate this, just letting you see my side.
