Sarah Palin on “The Bob & Mark Show” in Alaska at 930am PST 9/16/11?

In the final episode of “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” on TLC — which Governor Palin herself produced and had complete creative control over — the Governor promised to let Bob and Mark know, on the air, when she decides to run for president. Since the Governor personally chose to have that bit included in the episode, there has to be a reason for this.

“The Bob and Mark Show” broadcasts Monday through Friday. Though tomorrow is Constitution Day, today’s when Constitution Day is observed in most of the country. It’s also a day when “The Bob and Mark Show” broadcasts.

Many believe the Governor will announce her presidential bid on the show today — since she appears to indeed be scheduled as a guest at 930am PST…which is 1130am CST and 1230pm EST.

I have no idea what will happen on the show, but I’m going to tune in just in case.

If you hear anything else pertaining to this, please share the info in this thread.

It sure is interesting the Governor is booked on this show, today of all days, since restoring respect for the Constitution is one of the main planks in what’s presumed to be the Governor’s presidential platform.

Tune into “The Bob & Mark Show” to see what happens!

********************************************************

PS: I’ve been trying for a few weeks now to determine if Governor Palin has any public events scheduled for Constitution Day (observed today, or tomorrow 9/17/11). I have not been able to turn up anything, which is intriguing in itself.

We don’t know what this means yet — if anything — but I’m sure going to listen to “The Bob & Mark Show” to see if she’s really going to be on, and to listen to what the Governor says if she does in fact appear on the show.

****************************************************************

UPDATE: It looks like the source of this rumor is Simon Conway, who is a drive time radio host in Iowa, who said on Facebook that he saw something posted at a Palin supporting group about the Bob & Mark appearance before it was taken down. Conway seems like he wanted to be the first to say she was going to announce today, so he would get the attention that would come with that.

Looking at the GOP schedule of debates, though, I don’t know what to think to be honest. Rick Perry loses more steam every debate, and the next debate is not until September 22nd. It sure keeps with Governor Palin’s past announcements to declare her candidacy on a symbolic day like Constitution Day…but it also seems like part of her strategy to keep allowing Perry to further implode before she joins the race.

We all know the moment Governor Palin announces, she’ll be the sole focus, and guys like Perry won’t get the vetting and media attention they need as her opponents.

The debate after the 22nd is in October, on a day when the Governor is scheduled to give a speech on economics in Korea. Technically, she could fly back in time to participate in the debate, since she’d make up time on the 14 hour flight back to the States, though I don’t know if she’d be inclined to do this.

It seems odd for her to participate in the September 22nd debate, but then skip the one on October 18th, and then rejoin the group a debate after that…unless her intention is to begin participating in the debates after the 18th.

That would give her opponents two appearances on the stage without her to attack her, and I don’t see her allowing that to happen though.

I think even the Governor’s detractors need to admit she’s a masterful strategist who keeps everyone guessing. She really brings great excitement to American politics. Honestly, my boyfriend Justin asked what I was typing so late and I told him, and now he’s too excited to sleep and has actually woken his mother up in Arkansas to tell her to listen to this radio show. I told him not to do this, but he’s excited at the mere prospect of Governor Palin announcing today.

I don’t think even Mittens Romneycare’s own family are excited by anything he does. Let alone complete strangers.

Can you imagine someone like Justin calling his mother long distance in the middle of the night, waking her up, just to tell her there’s a chance Mitt Romney could be on an obscure radio show in Alaska later that morning — and that she would be excited and happy he did this?

Pick up your toys and go home. Doesn’t bother me.

It should bother you that supporters are leaving her.

My sense is that she's tamping down expectations.

The *only* thing wot aggravated me was the 'suggestion' I gotta avoid Palin threads. I mean for Gods sake, do people OWN these threads or something? I came on with two dinky little opinions, and I feel like I'm being run off!

DJ, you know me well enough to know that I tend to buck when Freepers try to bully me, tell me where to go, what to say.... I mean come on.... THAT's what's got me hot, not anything about Palin whatsoever.

Look, let me take a different tack with you: I am probably one of the more strident Palin supporters around, okay? But I seriously question whether she intends to run, and if she doesn't, she shouldn't be stringing people along.

Please, if people express an honest view about Palin, please don't tell them to go away. That's not very nice, alright? That's what I got hot about.

So, you pitched a fit because somebody suggested if you are annoyed by Sarah not announcing - which you really don’t want anyway - you should just avoid the threads in question. How mature, a paragon of self-control.

Your mind really is stuck in junior high: you are bragging about picking fights over non-sense, enjoying pushing others’ buttons, and then your own button was pushed resulting in a complete meltdown.

What does it matter if she’s running or not. If she’s not running is she just supposed to shut up to satisfy you? Do you really think that after the horrible behavior of Perry supporters, that all the Palin supporters are just going to jump on the Perry bandwagon if she doesn’t run?

Oh, really, Amazing Kreskin? You should take your mindreading show on the road! You won't earn much, of course, because you are dead-buttocks wrong about my views, but HEY, there's a sucker born every minute, right?

I understand. But the Palin threads have been very intense. And I don’t think the poster meant it as an insult. I’ve seen some people banned that I was very sorry about because of heated exchanges. And honestly, our opinions don’t count for much. We will only chnage minds in our corner of the sphere. Your average everyday citizen would think we’re nutty political junkies. LOL

and if she doesn't, she shouldn't be stringing people along.

People are stringing themselves along. Palin has said she'd have a decision by the end of September, or early October at the latest. Those anxious for her to run (or to not run) read every little movement as some kind of "signal" or jump at the slightest rumor.

Not really her fault, and she shouldn't have her timetable rushed because people are jumpy.

Personally, I think she'll run, and she'll run to win, because I don't see it in her nature to sit on the sideline or to not give it everything she's got. I imagine that one of the reasons she's waiting as long as she is (assuming she's running) is that she plans on an intense campaign, and keeping that as short as possible would be part of the plan.

It's not about me, if she runs. It's abou, ooooo, 130,000,000 "me's". I really feel she needs to do SOMEthing to be fair to all of us.

I'd take Palin over Perry, but I'll support Perry if need be. I cannot speak for other Perry people, but right now -- since she's not announcing -- I guess you could call me a (reluctant) Perry supporter.

I love that site!

We put “Caturday” posts up all over the IJC here in Kabul, Afghanistan. It’s against General Order #1, but I routinely feed the cats under the Mil-Van. I prefer cats to rats.

Still, I’m hoping your dad figures out you hijacked his account soon or your mom suspends your computer privileges. At your age, you really shouldn’t spend so much time playing on the computer. Maybe you can find some friends your own age at the playground.
