From what I’ve seen for the most part is the “Perry apologists” trying to build up their candidate (who is actually running) rather than casting turds at Sarah.

Vet, why do you insist on promoting someone who is not running?

The field of candidates has still not been set in stone yet. Until Palin announces that she is NOT running, she is a potential candidate and even a casual observation of her activities over the past few weeks indicates that a run may well be in the cards. In fact Palin herself is on record as stating that she will make her intentions known in the near future so that clearly implies that a run is under serious consideration.

Because as a tactical matter we cannot wait for her to announce. There is activity afoot in every state to prepare the way for her to be on the ballot, to select delegates for the convention, to build up the volunteer database and the email database, to have the legal personnel identified and ready to go, etc. This stuff doesn't just happen by itself. Peter Singleton's effort in Iowa is only the most visible of the invisible effort underway. But if we all waited until exactly the moment of her announcement to commit, she might not be able to pull it off. We have to be doing this now. Just the way it is.

Another planet I’d guess.Mostly it sounds like he’s never been but a few blocks out of downtown Manhattan and doe snot understand the different regional dialects and looks down upon anyone who does not speak as he speaks.

I once had a boss in New York that because I have an accent insisted upon talking to me like I was 5 yo and deaf. One day she was asked to do something way beyond her intellect and I had to step in and say “oh that’s easy”...here and here and it was done. She sat there looking like she’s been struck between the eyes with a 2x4.After that she never talked to me anymore as slowly and loud like she had always done before.

Says who? YOU? last I looked the election was not until Nov 2012 which is about 14 months away so there is sell plenty of time for filing of anyone else who may want to run.

Then you're not paying attention.

It appears that Perry followers don’t think their candidate has a shot unless they silence both Palin and the skeletons rattling in Perry’s closet. Fortunately for Perryites their candidate’s shortcomings are overcome by his hair.

That being said, untill the field is established, I neither promote anyone unconditionally nor do I ruthlessly bash the competition in the hopes that my #1 choice will enter the race.... the exception being Romney, Paul, Huntsman and Gingerich because regardless, they are unacceptable to me and probably always will be.

Why is it that you can decide who is on your exceptions list but if some of us decide to except Rick Perry, that isn't "acceptable"? I put Perry in the same camp as Romney, etal. Perry is just as unacceptable as Romney. I'll only support Palin, that's it, end of story. I say that because I expect her to run and I don't expect to lose.

In the opening chapter of her very relevant book The Age of American Unreason, Susan Jacoby laments the ever widening usage of the words like ‘folks’ and ‘troops’ in American social and political discourse, in that the word represents an overall decline in political and media rhetoric and a parallel rise in anti-intellectualism.

No one uses "folks" in speeches more than Mr. Smartest-President-Ever himself.

More than a few in the Palin camp are acting just like Mittophiles and Paultards and I hate it.

Then I guess you would have no objection to a perfectly good zot. Maybe you should just go away. You are not fooling anyone.
