I’m curious — why do most threads on FR degenerate into mindless tirades of homophobic rhetoric now? I mean, I oppose sodomy just as much as the next Biblical Christian — and more than many I would imagine.
But this thread isn’t about queers. It’s about the Secession Ball, the 150th anniversary of South Carolina’s secession from the Union. It’s about the place (or, as some would WRONGLY argue, the lack of a place) for secession as a last resort to retain or restore Liberty to a people in a Constitutional Republic.
How about all the folks on FR doing something novel and sticking to the thread topic — and STOPPING with the “homo” this and “queer” that name-calling — and deal with those issues IN THE THREAD ABOUT homosexuality?! Oh, and while we’re at it, why not STOP with the expletives, profanity and vulgarity — FROM JIMROB on down! Do forum rules apply or don’t they?

I just happened to be scrolling down the “lastest posts” and saw someone mention “homophobia” so I asked what he meant. Usually when people toss that word around they’re on the wrong side, so to speak, so I was curious.
