WASHINGTON - Sarah Palin, seen as a possible Republican presidential candidate, has paid tens of thousands of dollars for foreign policy advice to a U.S. firm that represents three overseas governments, campaign finance documents show.
While legal, the advisers work as an agent for other countries raises questions about whether Palin is receiving impartial information about foreign relations and could be become a subject of debate if she runs for president or another elected office.
Financial reports filed by the former Alaska governors fundraising committee known as SarahPAC, show that between December 2009 and the end of May 2010, it made seven payments to Orion Strategies.
The firm is a Washington consulting firm founded and led by Randy Scheunemann, a lobbyist who served as a senior foreign policy adviser to John McCain in his 2008 U.S. presidential bid and to Palin when she became McCains Republican running mate.
Controversy over campaign advisers who work as lobbyists for foreign or domestic interests can often blight national political campaigns. At least five of McCains aides quit his presidential campaign because of their lobbying activities.

You’re right - so what’s your problem?
Show me a single announcement. Just one.
Palin adviser worked for foreign governments
Who advised Obama on American policies?
I’ve been trying in a roundabout way to figure out how last Friday a thread got pulled over somebody musing over the provenance of a certain maybe packing humble guy.
Anybody remember that, frmail me.
I was just correcting your over-exuberant friend.
It is good to get brushed up on foreign policy, but she needs to get it from someone not attached to the backstabber.
That’s what I figgered—LOL!
That’s one of her problems. She NEEDS the advice. I’d be willing to bet Bolton does not have a foreign policy advisor. Or DeMint.
It's almost like a school boy who pulls the hair of girls who sit in front of him....because he secretly likes her.
Man - you really got a hate-on for this woman! Have fun with that obsession.
Well I think it is good she is getting some advice if she wants to run. But separating from McCain would be important.
I wonder if she would choose him as a VP candidate?
Now, now. Pi$$er is bringing his "A" game tonight ;^)
Good grief. I correct the notion that people have already announced for the presidency and that is hate talk, eh?
Better hope Palin never becomes President Pissant. You'll be in a straight-jacket 24 hours a day. They won't be able to take it off at night any more.
She is? I wasn't aware of that, do you have any links to support this claim?
I give her more credit than that!
Only if the Internet links to his imagination...
Randall J Scheunemann is an American lobbyist. He is the President of the Committee for the Liberation of Iraq, which was created by the Project for the New American Century (PNAC), of which he is a board member. He was Trent Lott’s National Security Aide and was an advisor to Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld on Iraq. He is a paid lobbyist for the country of Georgia and was 2008 Presidential candidate John McCain’s foreign-policy aide. He lives in Castle Fairfax, Virginia.

yeah looks evil to me /s
Let’s see Trent Lott, rumsfield, the freaking country of Gerogia yeah that’s a hotbed of anti-americanism there.....
and as far as working with McCain.....
A day after the election, a CNN article claimed that Scheunemann had been fired by the McCain campaign a week earlier for “trashing” campaign staff and “positioning himself with Palin at the expense of John McCain’s campaign message.” [11] A later article, however, stated that Scheunemann had not been fired, but that many of McCain’s top staff wanted him fired and removed his access to his campaign email and Blackberry.[12]
same source....
Randy went to bat for Palin when all the other sharks where in a feeding frenzy and trying to blame the loss on her. He was the only honorable one in the entire McCain staff. He called out Shcimdt and the other idiots....
LLS
I think the truth is she really likes the guy. I don’t know him personally, she does.
Some folks like him I suppose. LOL
