If the north was so against slavery why did they continue to profit from it and supply slave ships along with having race riots when those yankee soldiers came back home and found some blacks were working and they were not
Not only that many yankees who came south to take land away and force families out also were not that kind to the black population either and when many went out west to AZ,NM many yankees were not innocent when it came to blacks

Nobody has said that. But you all claim that a bazillion or more free blacks flocked to confederate colors. And if that is so then how did you repay them for their service? Black Codes. The Klan. Denial of any civil rights whatsoever. It is clear that the idea that thousands of blacks served and that their service was valued by their white contemporaries is modern revisionist Lost Cause nonsense.
