If I buy idabooby's yarn - which has has a distinct odor to it - then the USMC has a policy, which is their prerogative. If one wants to serve then one conforms to the rules and policies. If you don't like the policy don't enlist.

it really stuns me when I get someone walking by me and they see a battle flag and then look away quick as if they’re about to be strung up
I tell them nice flag hey , they just look away clueless as to what to say.
Once I had a friend with me from the gym and he needed a lift home, as we stopped off to get gas a NY resident saw me and the flag. The guy gave one of those looks and then looked away but I questioned him and then he said it’s offensive. isn’;t it I asked him to who and he replied african Americans
I said really and then shouted for my friend to get out of the van.(he was from black)
I asked him if he had a problem with the flag and he said no.
I then turned to the yankee and said nope no problem off him maybe it’s you who really has the problem.
