His 8 pound plus birth weight may have been true if he was born in July or August...
But maybe Mom said he was 8 pounds plus and 3 weeks old to a girl who didnt know babies and thought they all looked alike as a cover up for a 6 pound birth weight and 2 months old baby...

But interesting time line impact--because somewhere, there is text indicating that Obama Sr and or Stanley Ann told her parents in October that she was pregnant.
She got pregnant on the 26th; and told them the 31st? Not very likely she would have known.
In fact, even if she delivered late which she presumably did, it is still a pretty tight time frame in which she started school; met Obama Sr.; got pregnant; learned she was pregnant; and decided what to do about it.
