I was in Midland Texas not long ago and drove by the boyhood home of President GW Bush ...I did not go inside...but from the outside it is suprisingly modest.

They had quite a crowd of kids in there and I dont know where they put them all

Read Barbara's book...they are very non pretentious. She tells a story when they were vacationing in the Maine home how some king came to stay and wanted to cook....So much food they had to call the neighbors in to eat all the food...
