The reason it appears to me that the first sentences are in Polarik’s own voice saying that the Kenyan birth certificate is bogus, is the regular font here:
“However, the bottom line is that it’s another BOGUS BIRTH DOCUMENT. It’s not a birth certificate at all. Here are a few findings by the members of the group and from other contacts:”
Then the quoted statements change to italic font, until the end of the comment where the regular font returns with this:
“I also found a number of anomalies that shout, “Forgery.”

Polarik was commenting on comments from another thread regarding the wording. He has not examined it for evidence of a forgery. He has stated that he had other COLB’s to compare to with the Hawaiian one, but nothing to compare to with this one.
Therefore, his reason for dismissing it was just thoughts from other Freepers. All have been proven incorrect over this massive thread.

What Polarik is saying there is, from his point of view true. He wants to see a certified LITERAL COPY, like a photo or xerox, of the original record. You can order up such a thing from the Hawaii authorities, and BanBam has not done so, for whatever reason.
But from Kenya, what you see is all you are EVER going to get, short of a government to government intervention. The Kenyan document we see is an abstract, just as is the Hawaii “Certification of Live Birth”, it is not the primary birth record, or a photocopy of it. Perhaps That makes it “bogus” in Polarik’s eyes. From the context of his comment it seems likely that is his point.
My view is that all we need is to have the Kenyan document authenticated.
