They used the word “Republic” in their Constitution.


Only if you are looking at a version of Kenyas constitution as amended after 1964... Look at their original constitution of 1963, it doesn't call Kenya a republic.

Good catch.....I found this which stated the 1963 Independence Constution only lasted a few months before being dismantled.

I know officially it was Dec 12 1964 but did they use Republic of Kenya in the interim?
