I’ll concede the point for now, but that’s not enough determine that this document is fraudulent. It may very well have been common practice for the Kenyan government in 1964 in anticipation by placing the ‘Republic of Kenya’ on their letterhead.

It is, of course, racist for me to suggest it but we are talking about a brand-new, African country, as yet poorly organized and poorly governed. Who can know what sorts of crazy documents they had printed after declaring independence in 12/63?

I’m still way back on this thread where the point of interest is the date on the certificate as regards the
Republic of Kenya. I looked over the copy and the only place I see the Republic of Kenya mentioned is on the bottom where it is authenticated (presumably). Perhaps that notation was added to the “copy” of the registered document from 1961 when it was sent out, yet is not on the original documentation?
