I’m still way back on this thread where the point of interest is the date on the certificate as regards the
Republic of Kenya. I looked over the copy and the only place I see the Republic of Kenya mentioned is on the bottom where it is authenticated (presumably). Perhaps that notation was added to the “copy” of the registered document from 1961 when it was sent out, yet is not on the original documentation?

Seems to be certified in 64. Mine is similar in that I got a copy when I was 15 and it was certified on THAT date.

See post #3170...statistically they definitely were not using Dominion...so Republic could very well be what they were using immediately from the Dec 1963 date,,,,

Kenya achieved independence in 1963 and it would have taken some time, less than a year it seems, to write the constitution for the Republic
