August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii IS August 5, 1961 in Mombasa, Kenya. Mombasa is about 11200 west of Honolulu on the other side of the International Dateline. Mombasa is about 11 hours ahead of Honolulu. So technically they are logged correctly by date at each location.If “Yomama” was born in Mombasa on August 5, 1961 it would be recorded as August 4, 1961 in Honolulu!
