You keep going on about slavery and yet it has been pointed out to you time and time again that even Lincoln said he was not going to war over the slaves and that he had no intention to free them nor did he believe he had the power to do so.

Now you keep saying it was a civil war but to be pedantic here it was not so I would suggest you go and look up what a civil war is.

But it's been shown time and again that the South did go to war over slavery.

No, what has been pointed out again and again is the Neo Confederates cannot address the issue of slavery at all. Instead they follow three tactics:
1. Immediate personal attacks
2. Divert any attention to what the North was doing, or not doing, or should or should not have done.
3. Refuse to acknowledge, address, or seek to dismiss any role of slavery in the Civil war.

As to your suggestion as I should go research, it is laughable. The last argument of a losing side.
Besides, no matter what facts I brought forth, they would be dismissed or demeaned by people so personally invested in defending a failed slave regime. After 680 or so posts no one has yet to bring forth what was noble about the CSA. You are no exception.
