honestly I don’t know if you are just writing this crap as a wind up or you actually believe it.
You keep going on about slavery and yet it has been pointed out to you time and time again that even Lincoln said he was not going to war over the slaves and that he had no intention to free them nor did he believe he had the power to do so.
Now you keep saying it was a civil war but to be pedantic here it was not so I would suggest you go and look up what a civil war is.
thank you and happy researching
But it's been shown time and again that the South did go to war over slavery.
Now you keep saying it was a civil war but to be pedantic here it was not so I would suggest you go and look up what a civil war is.
From Merriam Webster:
Civil War - : a war between opposing groups of citizens of the same country.
Accurate, but it would be more accurate would be to call it a rebellion, an open, armed, and usually unsuccessful defiance of or resistance to an established government.
As to your suggestion as I should go research, it is laughable. The last argument of a losing side.
Besides, no matter what facts I brought forth, they would be dismissed or demeaned by people so personally invested in defending a failed slave regime. After 680 or so posts no one has yet to bring forth what was noble about the CSA. You are no exception.
SO tell me professor, what was noble?
