Wow! This is really weird. It is like Steyn knows something. Damn I wish I could be listening. Steyn is one of the best writers out there. He on a dime can discuss politics and the society in great detail for the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, NZ and most of Europe. Great writer and sub for Rush.
You were talking about the volume of posts... well, 12,554 (at this writing) is a volume all right. But, the thing about that, is that not even a small fraction is related to Obama. That’s from the “history” of my posting.
Now that Obama is President, of course I would expect a more significant number to be related to Obama. That’s only natural. And then, that number is boosted by interest in this topic, too. But, it’s still a small fraction of the total. So, I don’t think that these numbers that you are talking about have much to do with it (in the overall picture of my 12,554 posts... LOL...).
Well, as far as the medical journals are concerned — keep in mind that I don’t have a “syndrome” already associated with me, that has been identified by the conservative press as “Obama Derangement Syndrome”. :-)
And, actually, I think that should make for a good series of threads about what is going on, in that regard, too...
Truth. Seriously, there has been such an overwhelming amount of perception-bending going on lately, from all directions, with no signs of stopping, that I don't think it will ever get sorted out. Wouldn't hurt to try, though.
You said — “Im proud of you for working on the Oklahoma law. It is needed in each state.”
Of course, I don’t claim to have an “inside track” here, but am only an ordinary citizen and doing what I can and will be able to do in that capacity. I don’t want anyone to think that there is anything more to it than you or anyone else would do.
—
And then you said — “However, these cases are not over yet. Bergs original case has now taken the step setting it up for oral argument. Oral Argument WILL follow. For oral argument to take place, discovery must take place. In discovery the BC will be obtained....BO will try to delay this from happening, any delay in this process will again send it to the SC who will insist that these steps be taken.....”
Yes, I do know that they are not technically over with. I understand that there are procedures and much of this stuff that goes to the Supreme Court is based on procedures more than anything else. And I think that the procedures will grind out. The big question, though, is if following the proper procedure is really going to accomplish anything that the proponents want accomplished. This is where I don’t think it’s going to happen.
One can follow it through and it will be interesting for me to see, one way or another. At the same time, one also must realize that grinding through the court system is no indication of success, but only that procedures are being followed and appeals are being made and so on. Anyone can keep something going for years, if they want to and are willing to spend money and time doing it. That’s not new. And having a lot of time pass, with it *still going on* is not a good indicator of success. Why do I say that? Well..., in *all cases* in which it grinds on for a very long time — there is always a winner and then there is always a loser... (i.e., the sides of the issue being argued) That’s why “going on for a long time” is no indicator of success...
It would be nice if they would keep their posts to a paragraph. They write multiple paragraphs and say next to nothing. I wonder if the DNC/Team Obama issue random word generators for trolling.
You said — “They try to ridicule our doggedness on this issue because they know in their black little left-wing hearts that being dogged is exactly how liberals have gotten most of their agenda accomplished. Theyre used to conservatives giving up a fight and its driving them nuts that we wont quit this one.”
Well, some posters have tried to apply that type of thinking to me, but the problem is — if one is not a liberal left-winger, then it falls apart... LOL.. [... and since right here, anything that I “leave out” by not saying I’m not a left-winger and I’ve been a conservative and a registered Republic and still am — will be considered in a “conspiratorial manner” — and so, I have to insert that here..., for the “syndrome” :-) ... ]
That’s the problem you have here. You fail to recognize that there are conservatives out there, who have opposed Obama and will continue to do so, and yet — you only have *one category* to put everyone in — which is a “left-winger” and they you “extend” that analysis in “conspiratorial ways”.
This is not good thinking on your part to not recognize that it’s conservatives that are thinking that a lot of what has been said and posted on this subject is crazy. You’ve missed a big segment in your analysis, there...
While I am sure Orly would be somewhat flattered by a draft for her as Governor of California, I know she would just laugh as she frequently does in our conversations. She might not turn down a position of US Attorney in some administration other than bos.
What Orly really needs right now is the assistance of one paralegal who is accustomed to drafting ordinary discovery requests to SCOTUS in a case of original jurisdiction.
BillyBob et al know any paralegals like that?
Name one thing I posted that was inaccurate.
UR dumb post not worthy of further comment!
Oops, I guess that means you can't.
Glad dummies like U & Bob da bos lawyer are working 4 bo!
I'm not working for Obama, and you know that. I've been a FReeper for over 10 years.

Thanks for the update! Many thnaks to Hoosiermama, BP2, FreeMan and others who have been working so hard plus keeping us up to date. :-) Woo hoo.
Also thanks to Berg, Orly, Pidegeon, Leo, Cort, Plains Radio, FR and many others.
Orly is incredible and tireless. She should be Gov of CA. She could tell Arnuld in an Russo-Arunld accent get out of here. ;-) Sorry I am a bit giddy.
Call me a Certified Birther.
***Absolutely agree with everything you wrote. Hope the dynasty he’s trying to create crumbles.***
Okay, a good statement...
And the “truth” is what I think is at stake here, even more so than simply Obama and his qualifications. That’s most of what prompts me to post on a lot of these things. I just don’t see the “reality” of the matter (or another way to say it is “the truth of the matter” in many instances).
Now, while I would agree that Obama has not made it abundantly clear about his qualifications, at the same time I don’t see that he’s done anything so different than many other candidates. What is driving the “suspicion” more than anything else, is the sheer *antagonism* against Obama, such that it goes to the degree that *anything goes* — even those things that are not true.
It’s like you can say anything, as long as you’re against Obama. In my way of thinking “truth” is neither Republican or Democrat and is neither for one candidate or the other. And so, many times, one will find truth mitigating against one’s position (and unfortunately so). But, that’s the way truth is, at times...
Anyway..., I hope someone understands that type of thinking, in regards to truth...
and anyone else notice how BIDEN is with Obama for every announcement, signing, or swearing in? Hmmmm.....
***Maybe it the old “ keep your friends close and your enemies closer?” Or maybe Obama wants Biden with him so they don’t have to keep him tied to a chair with duct tape over his mouth so he doesn’t say something dumb?***

I suppose you believe in evolution, too — where out of an explosion and the randomness of disorder came our ordered universe and people who “think” (like you or anyone else). Of course, that “thinking” (that you and others engage in) may be simply “random” flashings of the synapses and chemical reactions (and nothing of real consequence) if one follows that evolutionary thinking down the line, too...
If this gets too complicated to follow, just attribute it to the “random word generators”... LOL...
Obviously, Barry won the 'popular' vote by winning the major population/urban centers. It would be interesting to know the statistics of...say, the number of taxpayers and amount they paid in the red vs blue areas. Or, say crime rate per person in the red vs blue areas. etc.
Another interesting point (IMO), is that there appears to be no solid blue anywhere in OK. Perhaps that legislation (requiring some kind of 'vetting') has a chance there.

People with this type of “syndrome” have only *one category* to put anyone in, who opposes anything they say. Theirs is a limited world, and people only think one way — or else they are the enemy...

Steyn has been spitting out gems all afternoon, like this classic: “When socialism is tried incrementally, people take a whole lot of it before they finally get mad and say ‘enough!’” Or, “The thing I love about America is all the ‘crazy guys’ who say ‘we’re just not going to take it anymore!’”(He’d really love FR then)How about, “instituting socialism lowers people’s standards so that when they spend 18 hours in the emergency room of a state-run hospital instead of the 48 they expected, they’re happy.”
You said — “Another interesting point (IMO), is that there appears to be no solid blue anywhere in OK. Perhaps that legislation (requiring some kind of ‘vetting’) has a chance there.”
I’m in Oklahoma and right you are. Even the two major metropolitan areas were solidly for the Republican ticket. And yes, there is something going through the Oklahoma legislature right now, in that regard.
But, it’s also very true that Obama won by a larger margin of voters than did either Clinton or Bush. And that was very surprising to me. I was actually thinking that there might be a good chance for the Republican ticket. How wrong I was!
