I have SORT OF an answer for your question...

Remember the movie Armageddon when the astronomer first noticed the HUGE meteor racing towards earth? One of the Government guys asked NASA why they didn’t see it. Billy Bob Thornton replied something to the effect of: we only watch about 3% of the skies, no offense, but it’s a pretty damn big sky.

Well, that kind of sums up my thoughts on why there haven’t been any very clear photos captured. How many people sit with a camera day in and day out looking for UFO’s? The shots we HAVE seen that have been ruled out as fake haven’t been by photographers whose sole purpose in life is to find these things or watch for them. Just like the guys at NASA in the movie said — it’s a pretty damn big sky. The photos we do have that are worth studying — well, the majority of them have been “accidental” sightings, and many of the photogs were NOT professionals - resulting in poor pictures or video due to equipment, or the person shooting the video or photos not standing still, etc... etc...

If we had “UFO Chasers” like we have storm chasers you MIGHT get a good picture, but honestly, if these are aliens do you really think they are going to be buzzing neighborhoods, or sticking around to be photographed in the first place? Most of the time these UFOs seem to be very high up, which would also account for a lack of good photos.

I do have to mention the sightings in Mexico though — I don’t think one can readily dismiss the video caught by the Mexican Air Force Pilots of the UFOs they encountered. And, these pilots — well, a lot of them are trained alongside the U.S. Air Force, and they’re damn good pilots in their own right and if they saw what they said were UFOs and couldn’t identify them as ANYTHING they had ever seen or heard of before I would tend to believe them. It’s their job to know what they might run into and how to deal with it, and this was NOTHING like anything they had been trained for...

Anyway, whether this particular sighting is a UFO, or not I don’t know. Whether there really are aliens out there “visiting” us, well I don’t know that either. But, it seems to me a better idea to keep one’s mind open to possibilities rather than assuming that all of this is a big delusion...

The sky isn't so big when you reach our atmosphere. And I've said a zillion times that in all these years since cameras are within reach of the masses that the odds are in our favor to have captured at least one good image (or a set), but four decades after our going to the Moon we're relegated to finding "evidence" on YouTube. I don't know about you, but goofy grainy videos complete with Casio keyboard sound created by some Junior High acne farmer do not convince me.

....but honestly, if these are aliens do you really think they are going to be buzzing neighborhoods, or sticking around to be photographed in the first place?

According to the True Believers, they land, they hover, they dart back and forth, they disappear almost immediately (though they never create a sonic boom)....

My mind has always been open to the possibility. It's just that the Movement is populated either by kooks or book sellers, and all that's ever offered as "proof" are ill-defined blobs of light* or whatever lucid dream crap is uttered by all the lonely shut-ins who jam Art Bell's phone lines.

*(nobody, but nobody ever offers the camera originals to the public. The subject of this very thread is a shining example. The wild claim is made and then the claimant is captured and taken back to the rubber room, never to be heard from again).
