I’m looking to pick up the Glock 30, but was hoping to get some feedback from an owner re: size, holsters available, how it handles.

Every picture I see has it next to the 23 (which I already own - great pistol). I have been looking for the Blackhawk CQC Serpa (II) for the 30, but I’m not sure that they make one. I have this holster for my 23, 19 and 26 and it’s the best holster I’ve ever used.

Can you provide any info? Thanks!!

I have a comp-tac paddle holster for my G30. It’s very comfortable, though I would like to get an IWB holster for it eventually.

Size has never been a concern for me. I’ve always carried large guns as I want protection over comfort. My G30 is above and beyond all else, an excellent shooter! I am on the bullseye with better than 90% of my shots. All shots are in the kill zone. Practice shots range from 7 yards to 18 yards and are taken with 1. both hands, 2. strong hand only, 3. weak hand only. This gun is a true gem!

I use a G36 or the 30 as a concealed carry when upland walking. The 30 rides best in my back waist band and I often forget it’s there. The 36 always fits well in a pocket. The 30 is more enjoyable to shoot over extended periods. I have a shoulder holster for my G21 but usually carry a 624.

A "functionally reliable" .45 ACP

Recoil is mild for a .45

Make sure you buy the grip plug for comfort.
