So you finally know what happens to Harry. All our questions are answered. Or not. What are your reactions? Whose death hurt the most? Do you want more, and about whom?
SPOILERS are ok on this thread! You have been warned!
Wow. It's over.
Maybe he's in Australia with Hermione's parents. I don't think she would have brought him along.
I’m good, thanks. :) Just been a bum the past few days with the Harry Potter stuff. I’ve got alot of work to catch up on!!!
No, he was at the Burrow. When Harry, Hermione and Ron left the wedding suddenly, he stayed behind.
He was pining for the fjords.....
Right and wrong--I just reread that part, oddly enough. HP explains to LV, while they circle each other before their final duel, the difference between the winning and the taking of a wand. Draco did win the wand, in spite of there having been no duel, because he disarmed Dumbledore. The wand was buried with Dumbledore, but it was no longer his. Pages 742-743--HP explains it better than I can. He even demonstrates that the Deathstick was Draco's.
Had Draco somehow ended up with the Deathstick before he'd been disarmed by HP at the Manor, I have no doubt he could have used the wand to great advantage.
LOL--I am actually going to miss sanctimonious twits like you who love to give commentary on literature which you have never read. You can't have read any of the books, not if you lump them in with porn for crying out loud.
Funny what some folks think is a waste of time! You stopped by and posted a comment on a thread which clearly has no interest for you. I'll stick with literature, thanks.
Since the other won’t fit...
Was he? Now I must reread.
Yeah, I had that one noted as a part to re-read as well. I'll look at it tonight.
?
I think he didn’t die because LV was keeping Lily’s protection working, somehow...I’m still confused about that, even after a second reading of the last four or five chapters. Dumbledore explains it to HP and HP seems to understand what the hell he’s talking about, but I’m still not sure.
oops. My bad. I guess I need to go back and re-read book 6 again. (At home, sick. Wahhhhh!)
Oh Kenneth looks oh so (joyful) making that pose.
Another example of things going full circle:
Harry arrived at Number 4 Privit Drive via Hagrid and Sirus’ flying motorcycle.
He left the same way.
He attained mastery over all three Hallows, even without possessing them physically. He used the Cloak to protect, he used the Stone, not to truly summons the dead back to life, but in his attempt to join them; and he proved himself master of the wand by beating its owner.
I’m going to Ireland in September. I’m going to try to get Evanna Lynch’s (Luna) autograph. If you hear about a yank being thrown into prison in Dublin, send bail money in Euros.
True. Plus, when he goes to meet LV in the forest, he doesn't know that he has mastered the wand. DD tells him that in Kings Cross.
So, Harry, unlike others seeking theHallows, does not want to use them to cheat death. He went to his willingly.
Regarding Lily's blood protection-LV kept that alive by using Harry's blood at the rebirthing!! HAHA
In the forest, LV killed the only thing that was vulnerable, his own soul piece residing in Harry.
Thanks Voldie!!
Ah, now I see. Thanks!

You stabbed deep. I attempted to read one but could not see the fascination—I said in an earlier post my kids have the books. I don’t think these are all kids commenting here, but perhaps I am in error. Yes, I did waste a minute posting.
