Am I the Only One who is sick and tired of "I'd Hit It"?

I've never posted a straight Vanity before.

But I am sick and tired of this good conservative, generally religious site being overrun by people posting "I'd hit it", whenever a picture of a good-looking girl is displayed.

It's demeaning, it's immoral, and I guess I'm just a prude but announcing to the world that you'd like to have sex with a woman based on her picture, like she was some object, hardly seems like the appropriate attitude on a conservative political site.

But rather than post in response to any particular person, I figured I'd just vent here where everybody could see and make fun of me.

So go ahead. I thank you for whatever indulgence you have given me in this rant.

Next month's thread will mark the fifth iteration of "The August Chronicles".

It will surely deserve something more august. Or something even more ludicrous.

The artist has skill, it's true, but he lacks humility. Taking pride in getting rejected and criticized indicates that he isn't learning the lessons he should.

I, for example, like to think that I approach my artistic efforts with the proper combination of eagerness, and humble caution. (I'm proud to say.)

Since I was reared in a house that had more artists than it should rightfully be entitled to, I see that pastel “art” as nothing more than the “artist” saying “LOOK AT ME!!!”

I’m afraid, if it were to be the August Chronicles, I’d have to take a leave of absence for the month. Someone, I have no idea whom, left my screen name, my key word, and a keyword with a z at the end. I don’t appreciate that, any more than I appreciate the “art.”

A lot of it was just plain offensive, not to mention pornographic.

It was disgraceful, to say the least.

I was supposed to be driving now, but developed a nosebleed soon before the rest stop. So the youngest sionnareen is driving now with LoM in the passenger seat. I'm ensconced behind her in the back seat, surrounded by camping gear. Just enough room to use the laptop. *\:-)

Allergy-triggering grass. This is a bad time of year for me to be passing through Oregon. If I can just hang on until we reach the mountains I'll be okay.
