This competition will be settled by the middle schoolers and pre-teens. I think Blake has the edge with that crowd. Jordin appeals to old fogeys like me. I don't vote. Wow. I'm 49 and spent two hours voting for Blake.

(If we can't locate/deport illegals, how will we get them to come forward to pay their $3,250 fines?)

Wow. I'm 49 and spent two hours voting for Blake.Ok, I don't know what it is, but there is something VERY disturbing about this!
All I know about this season is I've never been so wrong about anything in my life. I said Melinda would definately win and Lakisha would be secound... Heck, I even predicted Chris Sligh would sell as many CD's as Daughtry!! Bwahahahaha! At least I know the first step to any recovery is admitting you're wrongheadedness.
So now we're going back to the "sweater vest" fad!?

LOL! Remember the “TayTay” voting frenzy last year? Well I guess at least we’re not old fogeys. Heard that one wasn’t even close. ;)

I'm 37 and I voted for him, several times. At this stage in the competition, it is not just about the singing--it's the whole package. I think Melinda has the best vocals but her stage prescence is hit or miss. When she's not singing, she's completely awkward. Jordin is a good singer but again, no real stage personality, and she insists on singing out of date material.
It's funny how a lot of freepers are trashing the way Blake dresses, and I don't want that to come off as insulting. I live near MSU, along with four other college campuses. It's not the teens who dress like Blake around here, it's the collegians, and there are thousands of them. I guess I'm just used to seeing people dress like that, "modern retro." That fake tuxedo t-shirt deal he wore recently made me want to hurl, however. Wearing a shirt like that should be punishable by law.

I consider myself mature, and I spent almost 2 hours voting for Melinda.
Paula says it often enough, if you want your favorite to stay, you need to vote. I liked listening to Melinda sing, however I really miss Lakisha, she gave me goosebumps!
