Nothing againt the Divine Miss D. but with hindsight I don't think she was a great artist to pick for them. "all girl's songs" as hubby put it. We've got Tony Bennet coming up and last year there was Elvis, Barry Manilow, Kenny Rogers etc. It works out in the end, imo.

This is what I keep telling hubby. That Melinda appeals more to people our age, not to folks our daughter's age. But I love her for that. The same thing was said about Nora JOnes, and shee's done alright.

You are forgetting that 4th black girl. The skinny gal with the sort hair. She is not the singer the other gals are, but ahe's got the looks and the figure and good presence.
