I agree. Bob Dole is a classic example of a perfect conservative with no curb appeal. Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Chuck Hagel, et all are in the same boat. McCain is a contender but has his flaws and lack of crossover appeal.

Rudy has East Coast appeal, he can kill the hidabeast in her own backyard. He has a very positive image from his handling of 9/11. He took on crime in NYC and won. He takes a very hard stand against terrorism.

The hard nosed purists that only test their candidates by the abortion issue can enable the hildabeast by opposing a candidate that can beat "it" purely on a one dimensional issue.

Yes. I'm (obviously) a pro-life voter, but if the abortion issue were not around, we would have a very different political landscape. That one issue warps the entire political field.

Take away abortion, and debate the candidates' stands on taxes, defense, illegal immigration, etc. Take away the religious angle, and debate the issues, and I wonder who the religious conservatives would vote for, if they could leave the religious aspect out.

I will vote my conscious. God will put who He wants in office. I just pray it isn't someone this country deserves.

As a hard nosed purist, I don't consider advancing the abortion and homosexual agenda with a candidate like Rudy Giuliani to be the right thing to do. You would have us sell our core principles just to defeat Hillary Clinton? That's absurd.

"The hard nosed purists that only test their candidates by the abortion issue can enable the hildabeast by opposing a candidate that can beat "it" purely on a one dimensional issue."

The abortion litmus test is exactly what makes the left wing so repulsive.

The thought that a "conservative" would sell out for the same reason is also disgraceful.

I will support ANYONE that the Republicans nominate be it Newt or Rudy or anyone in between.

THE ISSUE is the War on Islamic Terror and defeating the repulsive Psycho Whore from Chappaqua.
